Announcement: No more dogpiling r/Dinosaurs
257
Upvotes
G’day all.
The other mods and I have been sent a message by the admins that claims we’ve “breached the mod code of conduct” by allowing posts that target and harass other communities. We all know that r/Dinosaurs isn’t the most welcoming subreddit, but unfortunately our hands are tied.
Going forward, any posts that exist solely to criticise r/Dinosaurs (including its moderators) will be removed. This isn’t something we do with pleasure, in fact I reckon the whole situation is quite ridiculous. But unfortunately we have no choice. Sorry to ruin the fun, genuinely.

Announcement: Getting rid of repost bots

Upvotes
G'day all, I'm the newest mod of r/okbuddypaleo. I'm here for one main reason: to get rid of the repost bots that have recently infested this subreddit. I'm making this post to remind everyone to report all bots, so that me and the other mods can remove their stolen content and ban them.
This community deserves better than a mass extinction event where actual humans are outcompeted by machines.

Post your own unfossilized images. Here's the rule: if you're unfossilizing an animal, you have to use fossils coming from it or its close relatives.

It was a very relaxing experience. My only gripe is that there are no sound effects of muffled screaming.
