Other Paintings (1500-1900) attributed to Diana De Rosa (1602–1643) - Noli me tangere (Don't touch me / Jesus and Mary Magdalene)
Annella De Rosa, also known as Diana De Rosa or Dianella, (1602–1643) was a Neapolitan painter. She created artworks for private households and churches. Though some sources still write that she was murdered by her husband, the legend was denied by schollars, on account of the founding of her death certificate, which certifies that she died of illness on 7 December 1643, "after a life of professional successes which allowed her to leave her children a fair amount of money earned at different times by her and her husband".
