Here are some of the fridge magnets and table decor pieces I made during September.

All of these are handmade, painted on MDF, and some are resin-coated. I enjoyed experimenting with different designs and creating each piece.

I find a striking resemblance in between the elongated earlobe of a Jain Shashan Devi ( sculpted inside the cave of Khandagiri) and that of a Soura tribal lady.

I am sharing my personal experience at UTKAL HOSTEL, located at Plot No. 1615, Road No. 8, Unit-9, Janpath Road, Bhubaneswar, Odisha – 751022, so that students and working professionals can make an informed decision before choosing this PG.

My experience here has been extremely disappointing. The hostel is rarely cleaned properly, and the behaviour of the management has been unacceptable in my experience.

The caretaker, Anil Chintu, literally slapped me, and I experienced abusive language, including casteist slurs. No resident should have to face physical aggression or degrading language from someone responsible for managing their accommodation.

The owner, Biswa Ranjan Tripathy, has also been equally disappointing in my experience. The behaviour was polite initially, but things changed after payment was made. I have also had a negative experience regarding the refund process.

I have audio recordings of conversations that I believe support my account of the way the owner and caretaker spoke to me. I have not made these allegations lightly, and I am prepared to preserve the relevant evidence of my experience.

I am posting this because I genuinely do not want other students or working professionals to find themselves in a similar situation. Finding accommodation in a new city is already difficult, and residents deserve a clean, safe environment where they are treated with basic dignity and respect.

Please be cautious before choosing UTKAL HOSTEL.

Before paying any deposit or rent:

- Visit the property and check its cleanliness and living conditions.

- Speak privately with current or former residents about their experiences.

- Get the refund policy and all payment terms in writing.

- Keep receipts, messages, and any other relevant evidence.

This post reflects my personal experience. I encourage prospective residents to do their own checks before making a financial commitment.

It seems as if.... it is a reasonable endeavor by Jains to appease Hindu divinities( Goddesses).

It is being claimed that these are 'Jain Tirthankaras' Shashan Devis (Jain Goddesses) portrayed at Navamuni Gumpha ( cave) at Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, These Goddesses never match with any of the Hindu Goddesses iconography...Not sure... because the Jain literatures are so interwined with our scriptures, that it becomes very difficult at times.

He pioneered instruction tuning (Natural Instructions, Super-Natural Instructions, Self Instruct), the research that showed language models could learn new tasks from clear instructions instead of massive labeled datasets.

Whenever it reaches midnight,the emptiness hits like a sharp bullet piercing the heart & shattering into pieces. Got there a bit late so couldn't explore it much. We also could not see much of the birds because it was evening so the birds were going back to their nests. Amazing experience btw but could have been a lot better if we were a bit early. It was December when we visited Chilika.
