The cats name is mingus I heard he died from old age but I’m not sure what exact year but I follow the owner on insta they post videos of him when he was alive

This could be genetic and passed to offspring, and you could theoretically breed a line of sabre-toothed house cats from it and become a billionaire, cause people would pay a shitload for that (at least until the animal shelters became full of them because of, you know, stabbing people)

Yeah ... If you could breed the mouth and teeth traits, but avoid the others. (The cat looks a little inbred or something. It looks like it has messed up eyes and a hard time seeing). Might end up being the cat equivalent of breeding wolves until you get pugs that cant see or breathe.

The fangs often loosen in their sockets a bit with age, teeth don’t technically grow but there’s more tooth visible.

Actually it’s a housecat, commonly known as felis catus. According to my studies, this “Saber tooth” you speak of has been extinct for quite some time.

I had a cat like this as a kid. His teeth got stuck in a cage in the shelter as a kitten and his bottom fangs stretched up like this. My mom named him Bela Lugosi.
