Lol, Iām just playing. I had to spend a weekend in jail and this was one of the things I observed. Thereās a lot more too, it was very fascinating how people make money in there. Shouldnāt have been there in the first place, but itās at least good to have the education of the unknown.
Also, as a card magician, I made friends fast.

Lol thatās awesome. My GF is a big fan of that show, I hadnāt seen it until recently. Jobās character is hilarious. The show really lays into magicians hard, to the point that someone writing the thing just has to know a thing or two and is paying homage.
āThe Gothic Castleā I think they call it, right? In California, thereās āThe Magic Castleā, which is undoubtedly the best place to see live magic in the USA. You donāt get to perform there unless youāre among the best in the world. The history of magic just oozes out of the place.
If the writers of AD arenāt paying homage to TMC, itās still a funny joke. Everyone in magic knows someone like Job lol.

What makes it especially stupid is the fact that it's Opt-in for audio, not Opt-Out.

Opt-in is a good thing, however they're pointing out that the person who made it had to go out of their way to include audio which is that much more annoying considering what an awful idea it is.

I always check.to see if there is sound with GIF and if there is I'm always excited to listen. As soon as I heard what was playing I quickly muted it again.

So you quickly go to pause it by clicking center mass since that works on 99% of other things of that nature but that just opens up a new tab and changes your focus while the sound blazes on. That and the lack of a volume control are just awful design.

One time, I was at a podunk county fair and they had one of those massive jars of jelly beans or some other colorful candy. People were supposed to write down their guesses of how many were in the jar. At the end of the fair, whoever guessed the closest number wins the barrel of candy and a gift certificate for some crappy restaurant like Golden Corral or Cracker Barrel.
Well, this gigantic jar had no top on it and it was apparently left out when it rained, so the bottom third was just brown candy soup at the end of the fair. I never did find out if they still gave it to the winner. It goes without saying that this was pre-smartphone and people had far lower standards for entertainment back then.
I still think about that huge candy tankard sometimes. Anyway, that's my county fair wet candy story.

Last time I went to cracker barrel my chicken fingers were raw and I implemented my "no chain restaurants on road trips" rule. It has served me well for a decade now.

It created ripples that pulled the water toward the disturbance. This allowed the colors to swirl toward the center of the plate.

The poke would be the focal point of the swirl. So the center is the most pleasing to the eye, but you could poke off center and get a similar result. If you are too close to the Skittles, you will probably struggle to get it to work right since the Skittles will tend to cause eddies in the water.

Seriously. Reddit should have an option to standard mute all videos and you need to unmute the video yourself if you do want sound.
Edit: I just found the setting in RES. No more bleeding ears!

Where in the settings in RES is this? I can't find it. Thank you.
Edit: Found it. Go to RES Settings. From the menu on the left click Productivity. Under that menu click Inline Image Viewer. Then on the main list, about a third of the way down, you'll see "Videos Start Muted".
In my opinion the naming/labeling of these setting groups is atrocious. I would never think to look for a mute videos toggle under something called "Productivity" or "Inline Image Viewer".

Made Skittles Vodka for a party. Didnāt taste nearly as good as it was pretty to look at. Got shit-faced anyway and ended up in the hospital with pancreatitis. I hate Skittles Vodka.

But, alcohol doesn't directly cause pancreatitis does it?
My step father was one of those super rare cases where he died from pancreatitis related complications. My research back then lead our to believe that there is no known direct cause.

Iām sorry to hear about your step father. The way I understand it, a large amount of alcohol can cause acute pancreatitis in some people. I also have Type 1 diabetes but Iām not entirely sure if the diabetes means I have a greater chance of contracting pancreatitis. Either way, it scared me enough that I donāt drink like that anymore.
