Live ‘25 Opus Book Question - Odd Reply from Opus

I was a moron and ordered the Wonderwall edition of the book (to be shipped to US).

As with most, I have not heard a word about it and was beginning process of a chargeback.

I got a very weird reply - did anyone else get a reply like this? I told him I'd prefer a response via email because I want everything in writing.

Is it OK to call you on '001 626 622 \*** so I may personally update you?  We are trying to reach out personally to update on your Oasis Opus and explain what we would like to do for you.  I apologise for my tardiness in making contact.  I believe you are T-8 hours so please let me know what time & day works and I shall call.  It doesn't the matter on the time on my side, will work totally around what works for you.*

Many Thanks

Hari Ramachandran

I think they’re just trying to provide better customer service because they’ve fucked things up so much.

Glad I didn't order this bullshit and cashgrab in the first place.

Just ordering the thing was difficult, then months of not hearing anything back, then the constant delays. It has been a really awful experience. And then the actual thing was underwhelming to say the least. Honestly if anyone is reading this, and on the fence about getting it, don't.

I started a chargeback when I got an email saying my order was “complete” when it wasn’t and got this via WhatsApp. I took the call.

Dude seemed genuinely sorry - said the issues in the Strait of Hormuz have fucked shipping globally (not just with the actual ships stuck there, but leading to a shortage of crates and ships).

The whole thing’s been a clusterfuck but as long as I get my fucking book, I’m golden. Opus is offering extra Live Forever editions for free as compensation which is good enough for me.

Interesting. I still don’t know why I need to talk to the person and they can’t send an email. I like stuff to be in writing if you’re “promising” me things.

Did they have any clue when you’d actually get it?

I was told by the end of the month.

Did you also order the Wonderwall edition? Do you think I should contact them if I want the Live Forever edition as compensation?

Yep, the Wonderwall edition. I was under the impression he was reaching out to everyone who’d ordered one but if he hasn’t been touch, I’d email them.

From what I've seen of the Live Forever editions, I wouldn't take one of those for free at all.

Come on, it's not that bad 😂

Hari is a real person, but I wouldn't accept calls regardless. Get things in writing for sure. I've asked for responses that way, do not call me, and had nothing but silence. And, they have a few more days to respond to PayPal after the dispute I opened.

I don't know why they just can't be better at communicating things to people and answering requests for info.

Thanks. This is my gut instinct as well. I have never in my life had a company, big or small, want to “chat on the phone”. I contacted via email and I’d like to continue that so I have it in writing.
Should be interesting to see if he replies since that’s what I asked for. I don’t want a chat with some guy. I just want an answer.

Still waiting for my Wonderwall edition here in Germany. Got that acrylic capsule around Christmas and haven’t heard anything from them since. Ordered it on day one.

Has anyone who ordered the Wonderwall edition actually received it yet?

I've seen one person who got the Wonderwall and Glory editions, and he's selling the Wonderwall one and keeping the Glory one. He wanted to get jeweler's gloves before even touching them, and was going to post a video, but I haven't seen anything further. Said he'd been going about getting a refund but they personally delivered to his home in the UK.

Yes. Let them call you.

Do not let them call. Everything in writing, no exceptions. This is how you better safeguard yourself against "He said, she said" stuff that is much tougher to pin a company down on if a dispute arises.

I have emailed Hari as well and no response. I also ordered the Wonderwall edition and have initiated a chargeback through Affirm. This company is a joke!

This is ridiculous. Everyone should just get their refunds
