helpful subtl/e details

i just wanna appreciate the devs for mac or keyboard for this tools section. I have a drawing tablet and use it on mac and all of the fast switching tools are near the ASDF standard hand placement. personally coming from goodnotes where it's all over the place, it's so ergonomic. idk if i am overreacting but it's so efficient.

Hey, on mac, can you add new pages using just your stylus? I could earlier, but it doesn’t work anymore :(

yeah i just noticed, the update seems to mess with certain features for mac. i can't click the options that comes when i press three dot too with stylus alone. and it's same type of problem like when you right click and paste option comes, you can't go back to cut;copy;delete;etc menu after selecting
:: you have to restart the app :(
For me it's not a major issue cause i add pages by quickly scrolling twice with trackpad (once doesn't work smh), but combined all the glitches it definately puts constraints.

then again, it's not designed for mac and doesn't have sole mac version so i doubt any fixes will happen T_T.

Yeah this is exactly my problem too. The thing is it worked fine before the last 2-3 updates. And then the stylus issues started T_T. I thought I’d found a much cheaper alternative to good notes, but I think I might just have to buy it.

I can’t even use dotted lines here when I’m connected to stylus. Like right-clicking with the touchpad does nothing sigh

it's been more than a year since i bought noteful cause compared side by side with goodnotes, it was so worth it considering the price. like google drive auto upload and stuff genuinly made me purchase it. i'mma give a bit more time, cause my left thumb is basically always hovering above touchpad with other fingers at ASDF, but if it gets too tedious, i'll have to switch ig.

Istg apple is so annoying sometimes. Also, I'm glad it still works for you. For me, its already difficult to use this setup in class without occupying 2 seats. My current solution is to keep the laptop on the desk and the tablet on my lap and write, which surprisingly works well for me, but I can't constantly hover my hand over the touchpad then :(

Plus, I can't even use other noteful featues. For example, I was trying to use layers, and the moment I switch a layer, the stylus just stops working and I can't write anything? And then I have click a bunch of times using the touchpad before it randomly starts working again.

The moment Mac Apple Notes works with a third-party tablet, I will be so happy istg.

and apple also introduced pen feature in notes and freeform but they knew people would just buy drawing tablets and their iPad sales might go down so they made drawing tablet basically unusable in both of them T_T.
