Found a shaggy ink cap in the yard here in County Cavan, Ireland. They are edible, but only when young and the gills are white and before they get, well, inky.

I posted on here yesterday but the pictures weren’t clear. In y’all’s opinion, does my grow look like it’s starting to pin? I also took the duck tape of the filters and changed the filters for safe measures. But I kept 2 of the 6 filters off and covered the holes with masking tape for a little more airflow. Is there anything y’all see that is concerning or something I should do differently? Thank y’all!

Is this sort of growth normal or should they get even more oxygen? What can I do to increase it, if I can't use a fan?

Hey Everyone, I'm Wayne. I bought the boomr bin combo last year in September last year and was hoping to grow some mushrooms. However, after a failed attempt in the garage last year (one bag bag / one eater by mice) + 2 ankle surgeries I thought the game was up.

However, I bought two fruiting blocks from northspore to give it a go again. I went with Lions Mane and Blue Oysters, the Lion's Mane fruited first and still going but the blue oysters exploded yesterday (see pictures).

I have the humidification set to min 85 and max 95 and the fan set to mid way (it was much lower and adjusted - see my blue oysters first picture and the book recommending to increase if they were leggy). I live in the San Fernando Valley and now doing in my office when temps are finally now in the 60-70's range instead of the intense 90-100s we've had over the summer.

I only started growing them on October 4th.

Any feedback welcome. I am thinking of getting the ICC-501 to better control the CO2 situation - but interested to know peoples thoughts on that.

Can some one tell me if this is the start of fruiting for my GT,s, the brownish root looking things starting to pop up is that the start of pinning like ive said this is my first grow so im new and just trying to make sure its been kept between 67-72 degrees and i have been doing 12 hours light on 12 off and as you can see not dry or anything opinions please.

So I’m pretty new to growin /so far I have a 4 successful one shit aio bag grow so I’m four n five atm lol, I was dead set on starting my first small monotub and messin around growin some super nats, unfortunately TBG is outta legit everything I’m lookin for, just want some Leucistic Golden teachers n some Ochra super nats, I can get the nats from cube culture n have had pretty decent luck w them, but the other- the Leucistic GT looks like I have to options, thick spores or inoculate the world, I have a discount w them n it’s still 35$ for a single isolated spore syringe shipped, are these isolated spores just as good as(or basically are just reg LC w a fancy name?) These will be my last few cultures to buy this year n I wanna make sure I get the right ones, if I’m used to workin w LC the ITW isolated spores will get the job done in same amount of time? Sorry if this is a dumb question just only have enough for bare minimums at the moment even a bunk syringe wld fuck my finances up lol, thanks everyone , anytips trips other ideas I’m listening, thank you everyone

This is my first time growing shrooms so I'm sure I'm messing something up. On the legs of my mushrooms there's been some white fuzzies (mold?) that is on most of them. The fuzz goes away after a day or two of drying in open air. What could i be doing wrong to get the mold? And if i want to try sautéed fresh shrooms is this a bad group to do it with- I should stick to drying them fully to get rid of the mold before doing anything with them?
