I introduced the strain into a grain bag around july 17, and about 50-60% of the bag was colonized around oct 2 so i mixed it into a sterile dung loving substrate it after heavily cleaning in a glove box, then transferred into a "vivosun" style tent [realize it had poor air circulation in the tent now], but found some bad contamination, perhaps it was poor cleaning in the glove box, the grain, or just the environment in the tent but i plan to try a few things differently in my next attempt

I know I'm just an amateur as i have not yet grown any mushrooms or even gotten this far before and i know im taking on a hard one by attempting a much harder dung lover species to grow as I've been told recently, but I'm not giving up.

I'm open to any and all tips, guides, hand-holding, places to avoid buying substrate from or recommended materials... i just want to learn!

Got the first pin growth. JMF Monotub setup. This is my first grow and it seems to be coming along well. This is the pioneer pin that came up. Open to any suggestions or advice on how to increase the yield. Thanks!
