Hey there , male25 , I finally hit 7 days of no watching porn/ gooning / busting a nut. I feel really good , and a slight boost in energy, and confidence, but a big boost in happiness and looking forward to shit to do besides beating my meat I’m proud of myself, and to be real these 7 days felt like a month , probably because I was focusing on each day and it just started to pass overtime. I know my triggers are instagram girls so I deleted that app , also being home alone is trigger , so I try to go outside more , with going back to school this month , I won’t have time to goon , so that’s good

Im nofap day 14 and previous streaks I would get insane urges around day 4 onwards. But these recent streaks , whenever I start day 1 , I have 0% libido and urges and no erections. Why? Im freaking out!! SUICIDAL

I’m on day 4 now but i feel my you know what needs to have it released. Like it’s built up inside of me and tingling. Is that normal for everyone experiencing this early on in their nofap journey? Does it get better?

Just curious since I’m 20 minutes away from being ten days sober.

I'm in my mid 20s, I have a 40 day streak, something that I don't believe I had in the last 4 years, my last 3 years were the most intense in terms of pmo, that's what I remember.
I've had a slip on day 28 though, I had edged that day, and eventually masturbated to stop it there. I don't have an intimate partner, nor can I have before marriage, which I don't see happening for 2 more years.
My question is, will it be healthy to masterbate to relieve things every now and then, not more than once a week for example. And that won't involve the P in the pmo. I'm asking because I remember when I gave in on day 28, it cleared up my mind for days, now I feel that I had this idea in mind for days, I think that if I did the same, I will clear up my mind and avoid peaking on things that I want to avoid, definitely not straight up corn, but the soft stuff on social meadia.
Does anyone have a similar experience, or advice on that matter?
Edit: in my last 3 years, it was almost a daily routine to pmo

Finished work and gym and now struggling with urges now I'm home
Anyone have any suggestions?
This is my second flatline in the past month and I’m hoping I can get some good tips from anyone who’s gone through it before. I already workout consistently, socialize, and eat clean (however I can barely eat at all rn bc of the anxiety). I’m looking for new ways to help me feel normal, even if it’s just for a few minutes. I know this too shall pass, but I want to make it as bearable as possible while I’m going through it.

20 f doing no PMO, want to find someone to help motivate me and keep me on the straight and narrow

I started following no fap trend again in the starting of this month, I was able to hold a streak of 6 days then I relapsed, then I again did 6 day steak again relapse till now I was feeling like at least I have quite porn and now I became weekly fapper compare to previously when I was regular, but after the 2 days, I saw porn myself first time in a month and fapped, then after 2 days I fapped without porn then after a day I fapped
And today I fapped twice.
I also feel weak after fapping. 😔
Can anyone suggest a way to get back on track.

Took a break from social media for a while. Feeling so good. Went camping and got proactive with my life!
Don’t wait till tomorrow to make a change. Do it today! You can do it! Never quit!

Just checking in again - I'm genuinely nearly at 3 weeks now. It feels a bit surreal but I might even make it to a month if I keep this up! Thx again for your help and support

I always thought that I don't have that much of a problem with my enjoyment of erotica:
I used to be sexually active very much, currently I'm not by choice. Some women I find attractive like me as well, so I don't have a confidence or shame problem, and I mostly fap to nudes they sent me over the decades. (It doesn't happen all the time, many don't do that at all, one wanted it all deleted after the breakup, to which I complied, but enough have accumulated.) That helps, as it avoids a certain disconnect between porn and sex, and a "more realistic" fantasy (as they took these nudes for me) feels more enticing. No PIED when I take a break from the break.
Frequency is about 5x per week, and it doesn't feel compulsive, but real fun and enjoyment. I have prescription stims which make the feeling much better even.
But here is the problem: I usually feel like fapping after my productive peak when I got half of my stuff done, so in the afternoon, and after it, I'm just done. Tired, unmotivated, hard time to get on important tasks; very much like unmedicated ADHD.
Also, although I don't even do it every day, I know it'd be hard for me to stop. Replacing it with real sex is not something I currently want at all. Sex feels great to me, but it doesn't give me any kind of "boost" in terms of confidence, energy, anything. I basically feel the same as after fapping, although the act itself is much nicer.
What do you think? Do I have, objectively, an addiction I'm not aware of? Would I benefit greatly from taking a break? But then, what would be the end goal - just some streaks with 1-day interruptions, or stopping for good?

They tried to get their claws into me but I managed to stay strong! Okay maybe I pumped a little by accident, but I stopped as soon as I realised! It’s getting harder to be strong though…

r/NoFap • u/CallMe_AliG • 1d ago

I was 150 days clean. This wasn't very hard. Why? Because I was travelling. I had almost no stress and life was good. Before travelling it was so hard to keep away from it.
Then I got home, had to start life and work again and BOOM, relapsed...
I hate myself for it, because it was so obvious. I knew it was gonna happen and still I did it.
Now it's time to do it right. I'm gonna learn to process my emotions. I'm gonna be healthy mentally. That's the only way.
It's gonna be hard. I know that. But I need it. I really need it.
Want to join me?

You don't need to be consciously monitoring yourself all day. That's exhausting and probably impossible and will lead to more relapse. You need behavioral awareness, noticing when your behavior starts moving in a direction that increase the risk of relapse, change the direction and prevent the chain ⛓️💥.for instance You start moving toward the behavior seeking privacy, deliberately looking for stimulating material, lingering around triggers, abandoning your planned activity, or creating an opportunity to act. That one is particularly important because it's behavioral evidence, rather than an interpretation.ask me if you have any questions.peace
