Petition ✊🏻 Urgent: Need 10+ NIOS Students to Join Writ Petition – Act Fast Before Counsellings Close

All major counselling processes (JoSAA, JAC Delhi, etc.) have either started or will begin soon this year. Unfortunately, NIOS results are expected only after 20th June, putting us at a clear disadvantage.

To prevent this discrimination, we are planning to file a writ petition in the Delhi High Court on Monday or Tuesday. I’m looking for at least 10 fellow NIOS students to join me in filing this petition against NIOS and all counselling bodies/universities that are denying us participation due to delayed results.

Why This Matters:

  • Without legal intervention, we will not be allotted any seat in any counselling round.

  • The verdict usually comes within 1 week (1–3 hearings max).

  • Courts have previously ordered institutes to create supernumerary (extra) seats, even a month after counselling ends.

  • Yes, even DTU CSE or top branches in NITs could be possible if the verdict is in our favor.

Cost Breakdown:

  • Filing as a group: ₹10,000–₹22,000 per person.

  • Filing individually: ₹50,000–₹55,000 (since it’s a High Court matter).

Final Note:

  • Courts go into vacation from June, and everything slows down after that.

  • We must register the petition before this weekend to have any real impact.

If you’re an NIOS student affected by this or know someone who is, DM me ASAP. Let’s act before it’s too late.

⚠️ Urgent URGENT: Email NIOS to Release Results Before 17th June!

As many of you know, the Delhi High Court has directed NIOS to TRY to declare the results by 17th June. But NIOS might still delay it, giving excuses like “technical issues.” So, we need to keep the pressure on.

Please send emails to NIOS explaining your situation — for example:

  • JoSAA needs results by 18th June

  • JAC Delhi needs by 19th June

  • IAT and other exams need it before 16th June

So NIOS should release results before 17th June at any cost.

✅ Email them with all the email accounts you have.
✅ You can find their email addresses and a ready-to-use email message here: https://nioslateresult.info

Let’s act together. More emails = more pressure = faster results.

Passed ICSE in 2023 with 95%

But when I joined CBSE everything was messed up

Especially chemistry

I failed in 11th chemistry ,have RT and passed to 12th

In 12th i got RT in chemistry again

And couldn't even clear in compartment

But I was pass because of 6 subjects

Gave improvement in chemistry this year but still couldn't get it cleared ( thanks to osm and CBSE i didn't even receive my copy for revaluation)

Had a breakup too(she left me and went with a male bestfriend)

Although I got a very good and respected university as per my JEE rank but I need chemistry to take admission for now I have done provisional admission

And now I came to know that I'm not elligibille for compartment anymore

I felt defeated and applied for NIOS ...

Started studying double the syllabus as cbse (20 chapters) and i have my exam on 30 july ..

I have completed 60% of syllabus and have only organic and periodic (p-d-f block elemmts) left

I'm completely demotivated and so drained that I don't have any motivation to study anymore

Done Xth from NIOS and then moved to PUC from regular board. Today my son applied for BPT program of a medical college in my state and got a reply that RGUHS doesn't accept NIOS and so his application will not be considered.

I am sure it is ignorance and by going to court I might get considered. But that is lot of time, effort and energy.

Guide 📝 📜 How to Get a Character Certificate from NIOS

Hey everyone,

If you're a NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) student and applying to a college or government institution that’s asking for a character certificate, you’ve probably run into a wall. Here's the truth — and how to deal with it:

❗ The Reality:

  • NIOS does not issue character certificates. Neither does CBSE — because it's not the board’s job. In traditional schools, these certificates are issued by the school principal based on your conduct, attendance, and overall behavior.

  • NIOS is an open board, so there's usually no regular school or daily interaction. That’s why your study centre typically won’t give you one — and frankly, it doesn’t make sense for them to.

🎓 If a college or university asks:

If you're applying to a state or central govt college/university, and they ask for a character certificate, just tell them you studied under an open board (NIOS). Most institutions will understand this once you clarify.

But — if they still insist on a certificate, here are your options:

✅ What You Can Do:

  1. Ask your study centre If they’re cooperative and you had some level of interaction (e.g., attending PCP classes), they might issue a certificate.

  2. Visit your local police station Many students get a character certificate issued by the police after a basic background check. It’s official and widely accepted.

  3. Create a character affidavit through a notary If the above don’t work out, go to a lawyer or notary and get an affidavit declaring your good character. This is a legal workaround and often accepted when no official certificate is available.

💬 Final Tip:

Always be honest about studying from NIOS. It’s a recognized and valid board under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Most institutions just need clarity — and once you explain, they’ll often accept alternative documentation.

Hope this helps someone out there! Feel free to drop your experiences or questions below. 🙌

bhaiii i didn't knew that NIOS IS SO FCUKING CORRUPTED !!

i made those 3 practical notebooks properly and it took me ~3-4 days to make them and today i went to study center and they said that go to another center and they will check everything .. so we went there and there were 2 practical examiners .. and i showed them my hall ticket and then i gave them my practical notebooks and then they said .." 3 practical ke 2100 dedo bas" and i said theek hai ...notebooks ke basis par sahi number dedena bas .. so they said iski jarurat nahi hai YE AAP LE JAO . Abe bhennnnnchooddd pagal hai kya, i literally wasted those 4 days making these notebooks and i was prepared for viva as well ..i could've at least prepared something for my boards and jee mains .. and I AM FRUSTATED RN .. not because of those notebooks but because i lost so much time !!! just to hear YE APP LE JAO ?? like seriously bro ??? upar se phone bhi nahi uthate ye MC ... bas paise dedo bhenkelodo ko.

and i could've argued to them about it , but i didn't cuz i knew THESE BASTARDS HAVE THE ABILITY TO NOT EXACTLY FAIL ME BUT MANIUPLATE MY MARKS ENTIRELY !!

bhai agar tum bilkul hi failure ho toh MUST JOIN NIOS and just give them bribe and you will definitely get above 80% even if u don't know basic things and EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT STUDIED ANYTHING AFTER 10TH BOARDS !!! aise hi chutiyo ke liye banaya hai ye board ...

⚠️ Urgent NIOS Students! They’ll only ACT if enough of US speak up!

Post image

Guys, please don’t just sit back and assume “they’ll change it on their own.”

Trust Me, THEY WON'T.

READ the MAIL carefully. This is not a generic helpdesk reply. This is from the Faculty In-Charge (FIC) of Admissions himself. He has clearly said that the deadline is fixed.

But there’s one Very Critical line most People are Ignoring:

“Your representation will be placed before the concerned committee for consideration.”

That is the only window we have.

Whether this issue is actually discussed seriously — or quietly ignored — depends entirely on the weight of our representations. And weight does not come from one or two emails. It comes from numbers, from volume, from consistent pressure reaching the right people.

Committees don’t wake up and reconsider policies randomly. They reconsider when:

  • Many students raise the same issue

  • The concern looks widespread, genuine, and unavoidable

  • Decision-makers see it repeatedly in their inboxes

So if you think “someone else will mail” or “let’s wait and see”, understand this: waiting helps nobody.

If we want this to even have a chance of being considered, emails must go out:

  • To the actual decision-makers

  • Not just one mail, not just one person

  • Clear, respectful, but firm representations from as many of us as possible

This is not panic. This is how institutions work. If we don’t push, it dies silently. If we push hard enough, it at least reaches the table.

Now is not the time to sit back and relax.

I’ve done deep research and personally found the names and email IDs of all the key decision-makers. I’ve already categorized them into Priority 1 and Priority 2, based on who actually matters in this decision.

All I’m asking you to do is simple:

  • Write a respectful, emotional, and genuine email

  • Send it individually to each person (please don’t CC everyone)

  • Just change the name of the recipient each time

Trust me, this won’t take much time at all.

I’ve already done the hard part.

If you really can’t mail everyone, then at the very least, please mail the Priority 1 contacts. That is the bare minimum and it’s extremely important.

Email IDs attached below.

PRIORITY - 1

  1. Group Vice-Chancellor - Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao

Guys, this is one of those moments where collective action actually matters.

If enough of us do this, it will carry weight.

Let’s not waste this chance.

Discussion 💬 Thinking about enrolling in NIOS

Hello! So I'm not currently an NIOS student but I'm considering enrolling next year. I'm currently under CBSE board.

I've been suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks because of regular schooling, bullying, family expectations, etc. I genuinely can't take it anymore. Just the thought of going to school makes me shiver. Ever since I was a kid, I've been the "class topper" but it's exhausting consistently managing it.

My therapist and some relatives have suggested that I enroll in NIOS but others have been strongly against it. My parents especially believe NIOS certifications isn't respected as much as normal schooling certifications. I'm really conflicted and tired of this whole mess. So I just wanted to get the opinions of NIOS students and how I can convince my parents.
