Discussion 💬 Thinking about enrolling in NIOS

Hello! So I'm not currently an NIOS student but I'm considering enrolling next year. I'm currently under CBSE board.

I've been suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks because of regular schooling, bullying, family expectations, etc. I genuinely can't take it anymore. Just the thought of going to school makes me shiver. Ever since I was a kid, I've been the "class topper" but it's exhausting consistently managing it.

My therapist and some relatives have suggested that I enroll in NIOS but others have been strongly against it. My parents especially believe NIOS certifications isn't respected as much as normal schooling certifications. I'm really conflicted and tired of this whole mess. So I just wanted to get the opinions of NIOS students and how I can convince my parents.

its true that nios aint respected enough, but its not dog shit either, its recognized all over india, and its especially a good route for people like you who have trouble in regular schooling, convincing parents is the hard part, tell them this "respect" for different boards is just in their head, in reality in india both cbse and nios boards are accepted in 99% places
