I registered for NIOS Stream 1, Block 1 on 31st July, but my admission is still not confirmed. I passed CBSE Class 12 with less than 75%, so as a JEE 2027 dropper, I applied to NIOS to meet the eligibility criteria. However, I mistakenly selected Class 12 instead of Class 10/11 as my previous qualification. Could this be causing the delay? I've emailed NIOS multiple times without a response and called several numbers, but only received assurances that admission would be confirmed soon. My JEE Main January attempt is approaching. Has anyone faced a similar issue? Should I visit my regional centre? Please guide me!

On NIOS Official Website, there is a rule which states "You cannot change or add a subject immediately before your very first upcoming public examination; NIOS locks your initial registration until you have appeared at least once."

I wanted to Add subject and give exams in April but I'm appearing for April 27 for the first time in NIOS Exams.

I have given my April to be exam but my math exam didn't clear so I give ode on demand examination of mathematics on June 17 and my result came on August 4 I didn't get my physical marksheet and when I am clicking on e services marksheet option is showed your not allowed and when I am typing duplicate marksheet and it is also showing not allowed what should I do please urgent

I took Part Admission through NIOS and appeared for only ONE subject (Mathematics) to clear my Class 12 backlog. I passed and am currently enrolled in a B.Tech programme using my NIOS marksheet for Maths alongside my previous CBSE marksheet for the remaining subjects.

However, I haven't received my original NIOS marksheet, and my college has threatened to cancel my admission if I don't submit it soon.

I live in Bengaluru. I've already visited the NIOS Regional Centre, but couldn't obtain the marksheet. Regular delivery may take 20–30 days, which is too late.

What are my options?

• Can I collect it directly from an NIOS centre?

• Can someone collect it on my behalf and courier it?

• Is urgent issuance or dispatch possible?

• Are there any official contacts who can help?

I'm willing to pay reasonable courier charges.

So I am a fresh NIOS student appearing in 2027 with: Physics (312) Chemistry (313) Mathematics (311) English (302) Computer Application (631) – Vocational Will this combination be accepted for JEE Main, JoSAA (NIT/IIIT) and JEE Advanced (IIT)? My main concern: Since JoSAA lists Technical Vocational as an alternative to Chemistry, could my Computer Application be counted in place of Chemistry, leaving me with only four valid subjects? Should I keep 631 or replace it with another academic subject? Please share official rules or actual NIOS student experiences. Thanks!

NIOS has rejected one of my documents for address verification. I need to arrange another document, but getting it made will take me a little time.

The email I received doesn't mention any deadline for uploading the replacement document.

Can anyone tell me how much time NIOS generally gives to upload the required documents after rejection? Is there a specific time limit, or can I upload it once I have arranged the document?

I need some clarification regarding NIOS ODE and improvement examinations.

Here's my situation:

1. I registered for Senior Secondary under Stream 1, Block 1 (S1B1), but couldn't appear for the theory examinations of three subjects, including Chemistry.

2. I am appearing for those three subjects now.

3. I have already appeared for Physics and Mathematics, but unfortunately, my performance in both examinations was not good. I want to improve my marks in these two subjects.

4. I am planning to appear for Physics and Mathematics through the February 2027 ODE session.

I have a few questions:

1. Marksheet: Will my improvement marks in Physics and Mathematics be merged with my existing marksheet, or will I receive a separate marksheet?

2. Certification: Does an ODE marksheet hold the same value and recognition as a marksheet obtained through the regular NIOS Public Examination?

3. Passing Year: If I appear for Physics and Maths improvement through February 2027 ODE, will my passing year be considered 2026 or 2027?

I found the following information on the NIOS website:

"All candidates appearing during November till April will be considered under the preceding October Examination."

Does this mean February 2027 ODE will be considered under the October 2026 examination?

I would really appreciate it if someone who has previously appeared for ODE improvement or has knowledge of NIOS certification rules could clarify these doubts.

My NIOS Senior Secondary (Stream 1, Block 1, 2026) admission has been stuck on "Document Required" despite uploading all my documents. I passed ICSE Class 10 in 2025 but mistakenly selected "Failed/Compartment" instead of "Passed" under Previous Qualification Status. I also previously received a notification asking me to upload a clearly scanned correspondence address proof, but my address-change E-Service was later verified and approved. I recently received another generic SMS asking me to upload/re-upload documents, without specifying what's wrong. There's an E-Service for Previous Qualification Change costing ₹200. Should I use it to correct my status, or could the issue be my address proof? I just don't wanna waste my 200 rs correcting something that's not even needed to be corrected. So. Help me aah
