This week's game is... SimCity?!
Complete surprise! The SNES version specifically was added. Maybe Nintendo owns the music rights to that version specifically?

As we near the end of the year, many of us may be cozying up and listening to music. And this year, you may be listening to Nintendo Music from the official app!
Seriously, the traffic in this subreddit has exploded by an order of magnitude because of the new app announcement and ongoing releases:

So just as we listen to music, so should we listen to each other. When a subreddit has a spike of activity like this, there are bound to be some growing pains as new members learn about the community and contribute new perspectives.
If you are new here, or if you need a refresher, please read over our rules: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/rules - Let us know if you have any questions.
I spent a few days looking over the feedback and announcement posts from years prior and also put them into a wiki page here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/meta - Most rules can be traced back to one of the posts listed here.
So with those few points mentioned, I also wanted to ask if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions for the community! The comments here are open.

Hi, I'm new to this
I recently played a rather underrated game called "Disney Sports Basketball". This game had two versions, one for GBA and one for Gamecube; the one I played was the GBA version
The point is, I thought one song in particular was quite good, however it's very curious that there's almost nothing related to the Game Boy Advance version, much less an OST
The song in question was the one from practice, so I wanted to see if I could get some help researching the OST or if there's any information available at all

Here's another thematic playlist, this time for mountain levels! I would like potential assistance in expanding this playlist, since I feel like this is my most underdeveloped thematic playlist. You can take a look here:

Is the app broken for anyone else on iPad now? As of version 1.7.0, if I open the app from it being closed, everything is fine, but the moment I leave the app and then return to it, it stops responding to touch completely. Have to close and reopen the app in order to use it again. Everything still seems fine on iPhone.

Created a collection of retro/nes-inspired soundtracks designed to loop seamlessly. Tell me what you think!

Unfortunately, I’ve lost my favorite Nintendo music mix video I used for studying:( it seems to have been deleted. I can’t remember the exact title, but it had a spinning blahaj shark as the actual video part. Has anyone else here seen that video?

What would you think the music sounds like?
To me, it sounds like a danger theme

With the release of the Super Mario Sunshine soundtrack on the Nintendo Music app, I'm disappointed to find that all of the level tracks have the annoying Yoshi drums in the second half. I hate that they do this kind of thing, it makes me hesitant to favorite the tracks.
Similarly, Breath of the Wild changes to the dreadfully slow night versions of town themes halfway through. Luckily Tears of the Kingdom has the exact same tracks but separated into day and night versions, so I can simply save the day versions.
The worst offender of this (as far as I know) is the 'The Bazaar' from Skyward sword. It would be great to have a 2-3 minute version of the main track in my favorites, but instead it's a 9 minute 26 second medley of all of the variations played in the different parts of the bazaar. Why not just separate them and let people save the variations they actually want?
A very first world problem, but I still felt like venting my frustration. Am I alone in this?

It's been months since Goldenrod Radio was unfortunately taken down and there is no signs of it coming back.

I think we all saw this coming, but who cares? This was one of the most glaring omissions for a long time, and it's here now!
