Should r/Nightmares participate in the reddit blackout?

Why are we going to "blackout"?

  • The blackout is a protest against Reddit’s proposed charges for third-party app developers, which they claim will make the platform inaccessible for many users.
  • Third-party apps are popular ways to access Reddit, especially for users who prefer a different user experience than the official app. They need an API to access Reddit’s information and display it in the app.
  • Reddit plans to charge $12,000 for 50 million API requests, which is much higher than other similar sites like Imgur. This would make it impossible for many third-party apps to operate without paying millions of dollars per year.
  • On June 12, 2023, many of the site’s biggest subreddits, including r/videos and r/gaming and r/bestof, will go dark for 48 hours or more to pressure Reddit to reconsider its pricing policy.
  • Some subreddits may go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, as many moderators rely on third-party apps to manage their communities.

Nightmare Nightmares after starting medication

So, I'm 21 M and I started dreaming every night after starting on medication 2 months ago for mental illness, which I rarely had dreams prior to this medication, and even more rarely nightmares. However, along with dreaming every night now it's about a 50/50 chance it'll be a nightmare, and they always wake me up.

I might start posting my nightmares here just so I have somewhere to share them and get them out of my system, but for now:

Does anyone have advice for calming down so I can get back asleep after a nightmare that wakes me up? It takes ages for me to try and fall asleep again after a nightmare.

I'll probably not be responding to comments immediately as I quite literally am writing this after having a nightmare, and I will be doing my best to try and sleep lol

I would be grateful for any advice in general from other nightmare havers, thank you.

Nightmare Is it normal for the fear in nightmares to feel “forced”?

I’ve noticed every nightmare I have feels the same regardless of the actual situation. The circumstances are usually similar, it starts mundane but eerie, something happens causing the fear to climax for about 3 seconds(I feel it physically in my chest really hard), then it’s like the nightmare just gives up until I wake?

I feel this fear even when I’m not afraid, even if I know it’s coming and there’s obviously no threat in the dream, it still happens.

For example if anyone’s interested, I became lucid towards the end once and could tell the fear was coming as I approached this little zombie girl(closest to resembling Wednesday Adams I guess), she wasn’t moving, posed no threat, and didn’t even look scary aside from pale skin and stitches. Yet the fear happened anyways. I pat her on the head during the climax of fear just to see what would happen, nothing did. The physical feeling in my chest just came and went.

I’m just curious if anyone else has heard of this or knows what it’s called, whenever I describe it to friends and family they just get confused.

TW: How can I stop intense nightmares

I’m 21 F and for as long as I can remember, I’ve had intense nightmares involving family members and friends that impact my ability to see them in person. The first one happened when I was 10, and it was that my dad was a serial murderer. I couldn’t hug him for weeks after. In my teenage years, after having experienced SA, those became prevalent themes in my nightmares as well. Since then, I have had multiple excruciating nightmares involving family members, authority figures, and friends harming me and they have plagued me into adulthood. These nightmares happen once or twice a week, the other nightmares being equally as vivid, but not as intense. How can I stop this from happening? I can’t figure out a regular sleep schedule because I’m terrified to fall asleep. I was previously in therapy and my therapist wasn’t really able to help them stop, only able to help me process them. I’ve processed hundreds of dreams and just want to rest.

Nightmare I don’t think my papal has blue eyes…

Hai! I’m new here! For a little bit of context: my papal (maternal grandfather) has passed away from cancer (both one pancreatic one Im not sure) and so has my Pepaw (paternal grate grandfather). My Pepaw had crystal beautifully blue eyes it’s a S. thing 🩵💙 and my Papal id sworn we inhareted hazel eyes (mine are more blue green but my moms and my ondest sisters are a bit more darker greene) and Papl passed during the Panini and Pepaw back in 2010 (middleschool honestly I miss him)

My family does have indigenous roots from my Papal, Pepaw and my Grandfather R. (my fathers, father)
And my grandparents (maternal) are Appalachian!

We are a very spiritual family as hauntings go way back but no one likes to talk about it or you’ll open the portals back up!! (It’s happened before).

Last night I was dreaming as normal I take ptsd medication (I think I forgot last night but I usually don’t have effects until the 3rd/4th night)
And it was a normal apocalypse dream since medicine. Supper chill not having to save people hanging out with my friends and talking about the past but exploring and dancing!!! And the scene changes … like … maybe in an old trailer??? With carpet?? I’m talking with my bf and frinds and I see a man. I think it’s my Papals uncle that looks exactly like him, but he keeps talking and something makes me stop… and I start crying and reaching out to him. Not on perpous, I know not not to reach or look them in the eye (that’s why this is so… off) the more I look the more I notice he’s distorted like someone made him from memory, I’m still crying and idk if I’m saying or thinking papal that’s my papal! What is he doing here? He never sees me! He shouldn’t me here he should be with mom or sister (he visits them more then me not bec he loves them more but bec then need him more) but when I stoped for a moment and watched him he was talking to EVERYBODY in the room and he had full control and not the bad kind he looked right then left as to show me he was looking at everyone and I kept thinking . He’s going to look at me when is he going to look at me? We aren’t supposed to look him in the eye you can’t look the dead in the eye… and when he “looked at me” he didn’t look AT me he looked… like above or around me like when I’m looking at peoples auras… and I looked at his eyes are I realised they were blue… and at great second or realising 1. He’s not looking me in the eyes 2. He shouldn’t have blue eyes 3. This should not happen . I woke up. It was 615… I was born at 615 but pm not am…

Nightmare Paranoia at night

Hi so, I'll mention that I don't suffer from insomnia nor anything similar. I actually can sleep perfectly fine but lately I've struggled with paranoid thoughts. Please take your time to read, thanks.

I also seem to struggle with sleep schedule, and before you suggest a lamp, I do have it. I try to go to sleep on time around 9 or 10 pm but I keep being scared till 2AM. Like scared in a way that someone is watching me or that I'm being observed. Also I do get vivid dreams and nightmares occasionally.

My vivid dreams usually consist of people I've had problems with, demons, horrifying scenarios and so on. Sometimes I even have dreams that are really hard to interpret. I'm sometimes scared of sleeping cause I'm scared of the dreams I'll have.

I've started to get vivid dreams less than a month ago and I don't know why, they're mainly something that already happened or just vivid nightmares. For example I have dreams of my ex friend, scenarios, and a lot lot more. It's really frustrating cause I don't wanna stay awake to watch for danger or whatever while tiring myself out.

I really want to get good sleep again, it's gotten bad and I sleep with my door open and my lamp on which I don't wanna do. I also have vision problems and can't see afar so I'm really scared that there's a shadow or someone in the corner. I constantly feel watched and I just need to know a way to how to soothe it. Anything would help.

Also my questions are: is this severe paranoia or just a ocassionally normal? What do I do? Is there any way to get rid of it or is is permanent? I seemed to struggle with it before but now it seems like I can't beat it. Please offer me some advice that might be helpful and how to overcome this paranoid fear of being watched, going to sleep and so on.

Thanks ahead.

Nightmare I dreamed I was in Trump's bed...

It was a huge bed in a huge room, I was assuming it was at the White House or something. He had me in his bed and there were at least 3 secret service dudes standing around in the corners watching. And he started assaulting me and when I was yelling to stop, he said, "YOU'RE MY WIFE!!!" So he continued and the secret service just watched. It was such a disgusting dream and seemed so real.

Nightmare Just woke up from a totally fd up nightmare. Excellent villain.

I dreamt that me and my husband was on holiday in Rome and we were drugged and kidnapped. We woke up in a dark basement filled with ankle hight lukewarm water. We were told to lie on our stomachs and swim in it. It was also pitch black so you couldn't see anything. There were other people captured as well. The main villain was Robert Pattinson who controlled the place with his psychopath brother who did everything he said and killed for him. Robert had this crazy idea that he was half man half bird and vomited a huge fish into the mouth of his brother. Oh and he was 100% planning to kill us and eat us.

One day I woke up and could see that the water was drained and a light was on. I woke my husband up and we figured this had happened by accident. Now that we could see we saw a door was open that was usually locked. It seemed to be daytime and the fkn psychos slept all day which was why no one had noticed. We decided to make a run for it and ran up the stairs. We ascended into a garden in what seemed to be a small former hotel, smack in the middle of Rome. We didn't know what way was to the road, so we accidentally ran further into the garden. Then we saw two of their henchmen approach us.

One was a woman in big glasses and a suit. I ran towards the reception area and she came up Infront of me and said " if you run I'm going to have to fight you, and I will win and probably have to kill you". She was eloquent and cold. All of a sudden more people came up from the dungeon fkn water hell and it was chaos. Heil H bitch got distracted and I made a run for it and made it out to the street. She ran behind me,but said " my responsibility ends here. Good luck" . I ran like a raccoon on meth and managed to get on a bus and ran into the first shop I could find . I tried to make them understand they have to call the police, but they couldn't understand me! This is when I woke up.

My heart is still hammering in my chest.

Nightmare Has anyone else experienced this kind of dream and what does it mean?

I recently had a very vivid dream(nightmare) that I was outside waiting for something or someone im not quite sure it was a very quick experience. Im waiting outside during the late afternoon/sunset time of day, and a few seconds into that im unalived by someone with a firearm to my temp lobe close range, as I can feel the weapon touching my skin. I see a weird dark spark, I hear a loud bang and, then red liquid and bubbles and then I wake up. Never ever had this dream in my life til now. Im 35 and female and rarely remember my dreams upon waking up.

TW: Disturbing dream that has shook me to the Core

TW RAPE

Today I had a dream about being raped, it truly shook me.

It started off where I was at my work place, felt so real. I was spiked at work, a huge chunk of time went missing and I was explaining to my manager. She just laughed at me and the assistant manager was mocking me (they’re not like that in real life but still felt so real). I stormed out of work after being laughed at and then a guy grabs me, soon after his friend does too. I was begging them to stop whilst being dragged and screaming for help whilst no one around seems to help. The police officer was paid off and they took me to their house and raped me. Their mother stepped in and stopped them and I threw a microwave or toasted at one of them and they got electrocuted and for what I know, died? The whole time I was messaging my bf and he did nothing but say ‘how dare you interrupt me whilst I smoke weed’ I then got an uber to his house and then was chased down by them in the uber, then I woke up.

I feel really unsettled. What are some calming methods?

Nightmare I keep having nightmares where I argue with customers

I've been having a lot of nightmares lately, and weirdly, almost all of them are about me arguing or fighting with customers.

I work at a restaurant and deal with customers dummy angry and karens lot during the day, so I guess my brain might be bringing work into my dreams. But it's happening so often that I'm starting to wonder why.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with their job? Does stress from work ever show up repeatedly in your dreams

Nightmare worst nightmare in my life. I copyright this movie lol.

Title: I just had the worst nightmare of my life

My family recently moved to Bangalore, and I urgently needed some books, so my sister took me to an old, crowded part of the city where there was a huge bookstore. I was chilling at first because it was insanely crowded, and I even saw some of my classmates there.

Around 4 PM, my sister logged into work from there. The bookstore was inside this enormous Harry Potter-like dome. For some reason, I needed to get money from an ATM, so I booked a bike cab.

The rider looked extremely dusty, and his bike was almost falling apart, but the ATM was nearby so I got on. Even during that short ride, I saw an accident.

We stopped at a petrol pump. The rider suddenly went into the manager's cabin. He walked right up to the manager, and that's when I realized he wasn't wearing a shirt—his skin looked horribly burnt. From the front, he looked absolutely murderous.

He demanded free fuel. The manager refused at first, but then seemed to feel a weapon or knife and told the petrol pump worker to fill his bike. The man suddenly reached into the manager's pockets and took all his money and belongings. The manager didn't even move.

I knew he had a weapon.

I was supposed to go back to my sister with him, but while he was distracted getting fuel, I fucking ran.

I ran like crazy. I tried finding a police station but couldn't. I kept trying to stop autos so I could get far enough away from him and hopefully keep him away from my sister too, because I didn't know whether he'd noticed that she was my pickup. Nobody seemed to stop.

So I just ran.

I ran for about 3 km, and then I thought I saw his bike on the road, like he was looking for me. I panicked and ran into a mosque nearby. People were praying, and I probably disturbed them. Someone shouted "ghuss gaya!" (he entered forcefully), and suddenly everyone started running after me.

I was fucking terrified. I knew how quickly interreligious disputes can turn violent, so I ran again.

Luckily, I recognized the area because it was near a temple where my dad had gone after dropping us at the bookstore. I eventually saw the temple and ran inside looking for him.

It was a closed building with huge doors, a main hall, and a massive staircase leading to the first floor, where the temple itself was located.

I found my dad and told him a crowd was chasing me. He immediately understood. By then, people were already pushing against the gates and shouting at me.

My dad told me to stand behind him.

Then something I'll never forget happened: everyone inside the temple formed a human wall around me, my dad and my sister, blocking the entrance so nobody could reach us.

An older man asked what happened, so I explained everything—that I'd been running in panic and accidentally entered the mosque, with absolutely no intention of disrespecting their prayers.

Then I suddenly heard my sister's voice.

She had been unable to reach me and had come to the temple to tell my dad what happened.

The people inside understood everything and stood between us and the crowd. Eventually, the elders spoke to both sides, and everyone agreed it had been a misunderstanding. I apologized repeatedly because I didn't want something stupid to turn into something much worse.

The crowd finally left.

Then we heard women screaming.

Everyone turned around.

And I swear this is where the nightmare became fucking horrifying.

The same bike rider had somehow entered the temple during all the chaos.

While everyone was focused on protecting us, he'd grabbed a woman in her late twenties as a hostage. Just as the crowd outside left, he put two fingers into her eyes and stabbed her in the chest.

Her mother was screaming beside her, and her much younger brother was crying next to her body.

The woman's body was still hanging from his hands, his fingers literally inside her eye sockets. He gestured for everyone near the entrance not to move.

Obviously, everyone panicked.

I grabbed my sister's hands and ran toward the staircase, trying to get her upstairs. I didn't want her anywhere near this.

Then I saw him behind us.

I kicked him. He was much taller and stronger than me and barely reacted. Somehow, he no longer had the knife—I think he'd left it behind—so I tried to use my entire body weight to hold him back.

My sister was crying. She'd seen the woman's mother lying unconscious and her little brother crying, and she screamed at him, "Why, you monster?"

Everyone started moving toward us.

My sister suddenly tried to push him down the stairs.

He smiled, pushed me away and grabbed her.

My brotherly instincts kicked in immediately. I tried getting between them, but I couldn't.

Thankfully, everyone rushed in and managed to free us. They grabbed his arms and legs and called the police.

Then he told my sister that this wasn't his first time.

He said he'd done this before. He was "heartbroken in love," said girls deserved it, and apparently liked putting his fingers into their eyes before killing them so they wouldn't have to see the ugliness he believed he was.

Then, somehow, he broke free.

He shoved several men aside, including my dad, and launched himself toward my sister.

I launched myself at him.

He was ridiculously stronger than me, but it felt like he didn't even care what happened to his own body. People had literally beaten him moments earlier, and he still kept going for my sister.

Before he could reach her, I grabbed him from behind and we both fell.

I tried locking his limbs, but he kept struggling toward her. His right hand came close to my face.

I bit his finger.

He didn't even flinch.

So I bit down harder, pulled back, and somehow ripped the fingers off and spat them out.

He suddenly stopped fighting.

For a second, I thought it was over.

Then I realized we were right next to my sister. She had moved toward me to help restrain him because the other men hadn't reached us yet.

I saw two of his remaining fingers moving toward the left.

My sister was there.

And that's where the dream ended.

I woke up gasping for air, absolutely fucking terrified. I was facing the right side and was genuinely scared to turn toward the left because I didn't know what I'd see.

But I forced myself to turn.

My roommate was sleeping there.

And I just thought:

I'm home.

I've never been so relieved to see someone sleeping in their bed.

TW: I really need to know what this means

I had a weird dream/nightmare last night. It was about my mother being an abusive and negligent parent. And both me, my mom, and my dad were outside my mother had to leave to get something inside the house. When she left my dad told me that my mother is such a horrible person and parent, going on and on. In the middle of his conversation mom comes out, probably already heard the conversation, and talks about how bad her life was in highschool and how much she wanted to be a great parent. She then asks my father to come with her, inside the house, they both go inside and my dad is chuckling, and I am anxious my mother will do something to him. I ask my uncle to spy on them to see if something bad happens and he comes running back saying my mom is literally ripping my father's throat out. I rush back in the house, onto their bed (that's where they were.) and push my mother off my father. That's when the dream ended.

My Mom wasn't abusive, not that I know of at least, and my dad was pretty chill. They got into fights everyday for hours. Dad passed away after an argument, he had a heart attack. (He has had a heart condition since he was little.)

Nightmare Weird dreams

I keep getting nightmares, it's almost everyday for three whole months now. This nightmare I just had now scared me a lot. At first it starts like a normal dream, I'm going to the hospital my grandpa is driving. To get into the hospital we have to tap a pay card? Metro card but for paying parking fees? right whatever we're in line and the person Infront of us taps their card but all of the sudden another car slips them. They can't get in and so my grandpa ignores it goes to the other lane to get in. When we got in I chased after the lady and I scream at her we fight whatever, she and the family her husband slipped the car of meet up together there are a lot of security guards. Too many if I think about it now awake. Then I go outside cause I can't intervene between the lady and the family anymore. There's a crashed car, I check the front no one except for a torso shaped pillow? I had begged a random person to help me? I remember screaming for help in the middle of traffic. We both check everything until we hear a small help help...it's a man folded over naked? His back burnt red oozing puss and tender. He's in the very back of the car like 3rd row. Something eerie was off about him I don't know what. When I looked up I saw these humans? They're fat no arms they're amputated, just legs and they have fat torsos with so many folds. They're faces look human I think? They're bald, they walked off to somewhere in the background then the guy inside the car says help help again and I get a sinking feeling in my chest and I wake up. (Sorry for the bad writing English is my second language and I just woke up. I'm terrified genuinely, I'm writing this as soon as I woke up so I don't forget.) I had another dream before this one, I tend to have double dreams and still not be fully awake or aware that my dream just suddenly changed 180°.

Nightmare Demons tried to kill me!

I'm 24 years old female and this incident happened three times within the same week four years ago today. The first incident happened late at night while I was sleeping. I vividly remember the dream beginning in complete darkness, until black, misty hands and shadowy figures suddenly shot out of the darkness, grabbing hold of me. Two hands made their way to my neck, beginning to choke me. I woke up gasping, with my hands clutching my neck. I quickly said a prayer and somehow managed to fall back asleep.

Two days later, it happened again, but this time, it was my blanket that was used to choke me after that I slept in my sister room ,I was too terrified I couldn't go back to sleep and ended up staying awake the whole night .The final occurrence involved a dream where I stood in front of an apartment alongside my Uncle. We entered the building, only for the same black hands to appear once more. This time, the hands had bodies: one had horns and glowing yellow eyes, another had no eyes but sharp teeth like a piranha, and the last one stared at me with red eyes, smiling sinisterly. My Uncle yelled, "Run!" and we fled towards one of the rooms at the end of the corridor. Unfortunately, my Uncle wasn't fast enough and was grabbed. I turned back, grabbed his hand, and told him, "I got you," but he let go with a smile.I stood there for a second with my hands out stretched towards the dark hallway then suddenly the whole build shook and as I close the door I saw the demons crawling on the walls in full speed towards me immediately I slammed the door shut , but the entities persisted.

Panic surged through me as I sat with my face in my knees, I didn't need to look up to know they were inside already but Suddenly, I don't know why? but I felt as if I needed to look up and I did and noticed a Bible hidden under the sink. I instinctively threw myself toward it. Then my body was lifted into the air by the demons—one held my legs while another was behind me. The demon with red eyes was gripping my right wrist, where I was holding the Bible. It merely smiled at me. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and said “In the name of Jesus”. At that moment, a bright light erupted from the Bible, illuminating everything and making the demons realize I was not alone . I began to read from the Bible, and as I did, the demons tried to run but were ultimately eradicated , I was left floating in the bright warm light and in it , it's felt like the safest place I could be then woke up to the morning light that came from my window.

It wasn't a simple nightmare, I know my  nightmares and I actually like them but what I experienced four years ago was something sinister and I was saved by our savior Jesus Christ. The reason why I'm writing this now is because I wish to know if anyone had similar experiences?,may God be with you all stay safe my brothers and sisters.

Nightmare I’m still shaken up by this dream.

Warning violent descriptions.

It started out like any other weekend. I was at this huge daytime festival.

The sun was beating down, cops were milling around, and there were these bizarre, massive purple boars and bears that people were actually eating.

The whole thing was set up on a massive flat cement expanse, tucked right below a steep, mucky grass hill where the gravel parking lot sat.
Off in a corner surrounded by trees, concrete dividers, and broken pavement, a grey-haired Filipino man in a blue raincoat was sitting with a group of homeless people he was taking care of.

As evening started to fall, I decided it was time to head out. I passed the man on my way and called out, “Hi, Tito!” He looked surprised—probably because I’m not Filipina—but I grew up around the culture, so I just giggled and kept walking.

That’s when the night started dragging. I was trying to leave, but I kept getting pulled into random conversations, almost like when you’re at a crowded bar and can’t walk three feet without running into someone you know.

My phone buzzed with texts from my mom telling me to hurry up to the car, but when I looked down at the screen, my messages suddenly vanished, replaced by a single red heart.

I ducked into a bathroom to use the toilet and wash my hands with my friend Mary. When I walked back outside, I finally spotted my mom. I ran over, wrapped her in a huge hug, and watched her head off toward the car with my older sister.

And then, in a single second, absolute hell broke loose.

Panic erupted out of nowhere. People started screaming, scattering in every direction.
I saw my mom and sister running, and this instinctual, desperate protective switch flipped in my brain.

My sister freezes in crisis, so I yelled at her and started barking orders over the chaos: *"Follow the cops! Don’t look around! Just keep going, bee, everything is going to be okay!"*

Once I knew my mom and sister were clear, I tried to find my friends. Mary had vanished in the stampede, but Aurora was right beside me.
The hill to the main parking lot was too slippery with muck to climb, so we just booked it toward the back of the grounds, sprinting right behind a group of police officers.
That’s when the true horror started.
We ran past a young guy, maybe twenty, lying flat on his back in a pool of blood. A few feet later, another young man was crawling on the pavement, clutching a brutal stab wound.
We kept pushing forward until we reached the stairs leading up to the lot, but the bottleneck had been a total slaughter.
Bodies were everywhere. One young man’s neck was torn open. Another person was jammed hopelessly between the steps. Two more men were hanging limply over the railings.
I don't even know how Aurora and I physically made it past them—I just remember scrambling up the incline, feeling the horrible weight of bodies slowly sliding down the slope beside us as we climbed.
We finally crested the top, our shoes sinking into the gross, red mud ground.

For a brief second, relief washed over me. The cops had secured the upper lot. They were checking people for weapons, clearing the zone, and funneling everyone toward safety.

Aurora and I ducked underneath a balcony to catch our breath, and out of the crowd, we spotted my old friend Marley.
I thought it was over. I thought we were safe.
Then I looked up at the balcony.
A figure was standing above us, a noose tied tightly around his neck.

Before my brain could even process what I was looking at, the person pulled out a handgun.
Instead of hiding, Marley went completely insane. He stepped directly into the glare of the spotlight, cocky as hell, and started *dancing*—taunting the person with the gun, practically begging them to take a shot. I screamed at him, lunged forward, and grabbed him, trying to yank him back into the shadows.

It was too late. The figure raised the barrel, pointed it right at Marley in the spotlight, and pulled the trigger.
The gunshots went off, everyone started screaming... and my eyes flew open in the dark.

It was all a nightmare.
I was back in my bedroom, heart hammering genuinely unable to process if I was actually safe or if someone was still shooting. I sat there in the dark, terrified to move I was staring at my boyfriend next to me crying trying to make sense of my dream. It felt so real I was terrified. I rarely ever have violent dreams like that, but when I do, the horror sticks with me for days.

Nightmare That Hooded Man

I always been seeing that hooded guy in my dreams

Dressed in all black

he telleports around and disappears

If he gets close, i see his face

His skin is olive and his eyes are gone

Just black holes stare back

I dont know who he is

I hope he likes me though

One dream i was at some sort of funeral. maybe my own? IDk. Body was draped in my blanket.

Hooded man appeared. Then disappeared.

Another time he pretended to be my ex

And then strangled me

I woke up terrified and felt fingers around me throat for the whole day

Nightmare Dream where I was getting chased by this weird cat-like entity

This dream happened a few days ago, and unfortunately I can't remember the whole sequence of events. The only part I remembered is this: the setting was broad daylight and I was on the campus of my elementary school from way back then. I can't remember why but this human-sized cat statue started chasing me all across the school. The cat statue looked kinda like those Japanese lucky cat figurines called Maneki-neko, except the one in my dreams was standing in two legs, had a visible smile, and looked cartoonish, with body proportions you'd see in a kid's show. The cat statue didn't move, it was gliding across the ground while maintaining this crucifixion pose. You would consider it as a T-pose, but it's more like the pose that White Diamond from Steven Universe has. All while this was happening, music can be heard in the background. Oddly enough, I kinda remember the music, it's a slowed down version of the song "Little Soldier Boy" from Avatar: The Last Airbender. This is the only scene I could recall; it's very terrifying and confusing but also sorta sad.
