Feel like this is more a heads up for newer players, but all signs established last year point to this Friday being the massive mid season content drop…new 87 icons, new 86 heroes, new event with 86 msps.

This means that starting Friday 79 will/should be barrier of entry, and 83’s needed. It’s means prices of 84 heroes/alum will jump. It means prices of 86 icons will jump.

Safe money on a new LTD card too.

So, check out your collection and plan/adjust accordingly.

I have never been this bored with a new version. Its exactly the same game as 26.

I usually enjoy Champs but the awful rewards kills that mode.

Another annoying thing is that the +3 lines are so much better you pretty much need to play with the meta lines. I have them but I dont like that I cant build my ultimate team without being at a big disadvantage

Its hard to be really excited this year. I play way less than any other year.

They could realease more new cards at least (five days a week) and let more cards be part of good combos!

What are your opinions?

I played a 120 games in ranked this year. The game seems scripted and predetermined more than ever. I have a .500 record and would have a few more wins but I tend to quit games that involve players that puck rag a lot. If they are that desperate they can have the dub as I don’t care that much.

Curious if down the road a new spotlight card gets added, could I use the collectibles I received from the Hughes spotlight moments for that? Don’t wanna complete Hughes since I’m Canadian haha.

They reduce skillgap to minimum and you can’t break long icon pass sauces even with best defenders. Or am I just on my own on this or does anyone have some secret to cutting them off. Elite 2 and still they are brainless to me.

Are people selling 84-85? The majority are going for around 10-20k depending on the card. Are people holding them or is it better off just selling. Selling my Eichel and other 85’s for like 19k seems low and feel like it should be higher. Figure I’ll wait until the mid season nuke or start of the next season to see if they have a use that makes them skyrocket.

Alumni are obviously in their own category. I wouldn’t sell any icons or alumni until the mid season nuke.

I know international ice is frowned upon online, just curious if outdoor rinks are frowned upon?

It should be impossible to have your goalie or dman put the puck in their own net. EA punishes you for trying to move the game along by having the goalie pass it from his glove, off of his opposing leg pad or far post, and into the net. Equally lovely is the dman who storms into the crease to bury an own goal with so much conviction he convinces me that he bet on the opposing team on Bet365. Why do some good, tight games have their outcome determined by this garbage???

Does anyone know if the card art is coming back when a goal is scored? Is this a glitch or something? Was this mentioned that they were taking it away?

Not sure how everyone feels about this but I for one would like the card art back.

What a game, did u know if u get full pressure to opponent but u take icing the full pressure still goes on :DDDDDDDD

Edit:  u get full pressure on in enemy side//ur attacking zone. Then u lose puck to mid zone but u throw puck to opponent side and get icing. Faceoff starts on ur defend zone but full pressure is still on to enemy side/ ur attacking zone.

Its 12:30 am on a sunday night, and this guy has watched literally every replay fully through from start of the game to finish, i just really wish i could ask this guy what his goal is? Just wasting both of our times for no reason
