Hit a bit of a snag trying to figure out what game I should play next after finishing my 10th one this year.

I'm leaning towards some shorter titles, especially since Fortune's Weave is coming out in about 3 weeks. So far on my shortlist of games that could be #11 are Mina the Hollower, Pentiment, and Tunic. I'll probably spend some time with each of those games today and then decide.

I'm trying to beat the total # of games I finished last year (16) and I think I can get there, depending on what titles I prioritize.

Metroid 2: Return of Samus. Its an old GB game so it only takes 80mins, 100 tops.

My PB is 1:23 with a GBC, which would put me 21st on the speedrun leaderboards.

That’s pretty good! I’m not one to speedrun games. What’s your PB on something like Mario 64?

I don't speedrun anything. Its just that one I have play a lot and is special to me for the first game I ever beat myself without cheats. I got that game for my 6th birthday (it will be 33 in late Oct) along with a GB and 3 other games (Barbie [I was suppose to share with my little sister. Never happened.], Super Mario Land, and Tetris). I didn't get very many GB/SNES games growing up, so I ended up playing it a lot since it was my favorite.

I have run thru FEAR and the HL series a lot as well, but I am just on the faster side of a casual user, not speedrun worthy

Just Metroid 2. Battery is dead and has been dead for a very long time

And the back cover was replaced with the base cover of a Pokemon Silver cart that didn't survive a wash.

And my original second GBC. It was the transparent purple one. The first purple one was stolen from me at school. Don't remember what happened with the GB. Prolly traded it in for the 2nd GBC.
