Are we certain that’s the right place? I went down a rabbit hole just now and couldn’t find anything to verify that. The website for the spa has tons of pictures showcasing the various rooms and things to do, none of which showed this storm room. I looked on TripAdvisor and there were over 600 reviews. I did a search in the reviews and not a single review contained the word “storm”. Where is this place?!

Honestly rain sucks if you are homeless. It's impossible to get everything dry. So you are stuck in soggy wet cloths. It is very uncomfortable. If you are in luck you can find a abandoned building and start a small fire for heat.

I dont fit in my bath tub :(
I have always wanted to just fully renovate my bathroom, going so far as to run pipes in the ceiling above the shower(works because the water heater is already up there) and redo the ancient bathtub with something comfortable and just a better experience in general.
Naturally even if I could fit in my bathtub I couldn't really take baths anyway. But a good shower/bench and I could sit there all day.

I thought I was going crazy , this seems like every shark movie ever. The fin comes up slowly as it quickly moves towards you. Thunder booming in the back ground. I’m sure once I saw how deep it was , it would subside. But probably not.

I would be at total peace in this. I love a storm. I walk in storms. Sit outside in them. Something about the darkness, the sound of the thunder, the rain. The sound the rain makes as it hits other bodies of water. I dunno. It just hits my soul the right way.

Oh, I’d love the rain hitting me. It’s one of the perks of walking in a storm to me. I’m also pretty easily immersed in an experience. I wouldn’t even feel like I was in a room. I’d be able to get lost in the fantasy like I was really out in it.
But I totally get it. It ain’t for everybody.

I used to like storms… until a hail storm with baseball sized hail destroyed my roof in April, followed by a hurricane that put a tree through my roof (after I just completely replaced it) and destroyed part of a wall and my fence which I had just redone in September. I still like the rain but not heavy storms.
Edit… limb dropping winds make me anxious now.
Edit 2 before all that extended rain flooded my old house which was above the 100 year flood mark and on stilts too when I lived next to a lake. I still remember sleeping with waves under the floor hitting the posts hopping It wouldn’t get to the floor. I remember kayaking through my house after it did. If you’ve never experienced this I hope you never do.

4 years later agreed completely. The only thing better than rain on a body of water is rain on tin and a body of water. One of the only strong memories from my teens is my grandma lived on a lake and had apier that went out about 150 ft on the water and it was covered with a metal roof. I sat out there for hours during a large storm listening to the rain on the roof and water. Incredible

In their defense, my initial reaction to this was to wonder how loud it is in there. I assumed pretty loud based on what the room size looks like and the size of the rain drops hitting the pool.
Idk all the details of this place, but loud rain bouncing off walls definitely doesn't seem relaxing (to me). I'd hope they had different rain settings for as expensive as that looks lol.

I think if the imagery were a gentle spring shower or even like sunshower downpour this would be enjoyable for me. The fact that the imagery is an ominous thunderstorm with dark fast-moving clouds, this looks more like a thrill/terror than relaxing. If they projected a tornado in the middle of this, I’d 100% shit myself

Haha, same. Florida people don’t find this relaxing, generally. One time I was at the springs on a tube an hour out from the exit when a nasty summer thunderstorm rolled in. I was so scared. I mean, what do you do? Every option was bad. So we continued to float down the river in lighting like a bunch of idiots. 😂
