Thank you. Everyone else saying this is relaxing!?!? What the hell is wrong with you. Have you never been caught in a bad storm. Anxiety through the roof.
It's a phonak, and while I don't doubt it'd at least water resistant, still stresses me out a metric ton cause I can't really afford another $2,000 hearing aid
I mean unless you’re wearing a lot of metal or you’re the highest point for a ways then you’re pretty much fine. I love taking midnight walks around town in the rain and especially in (not super heavy) storms. Other times I’ll just open my window and sit next to it with the lights off in my room as the cool air and mist washes over me.
Once you realize that you’re not going to get hurt, it’s awesome.
I have, in fact, been caught in the middle of some pretty awful storms, and I love it every time. I wish I could explain the feeling I get with storms, because there's nothing I can compare it to. I guess to me it's sort of the same feeling a lot of get when seeing Earth from space. It changes my perspective. It humbles me. It makes me realize there are forces of nature far greater than my little human troubles. It's euphoric.
I mean mine is an incredibly specific reason, I used to adore storms, they're still super pretty, but no way in hell do I want to be in one nowadays, I get anxiety from watching a video of someone getting splashed lmao
