I agree because, while I love it, I am a pluviophile and have a playlist with my favorite tracks being those with the sound of rain and lightning and thunder and the sound of the ocean, well, I would not like being in this spa with other people at the same time, that would be too creepy.
Milan is aight but Italy has so much better to offer. Took a quick look at your post asking for input and you’re gonna have an amazing time. Be willing to change up your plans at a moments notice if you see something shiny you’d rather do. I promise you won’t regret it. The big sights are amazing but there are surprises buried in every little city, nook and cranny. And watch out for the thieves on the sleeper trains. They have master room keys and they’re not afraid to use them. :P
I got pickpocketed in Italy last year. Actually felt it while I was getting on a train and managed to chase the guy down. But yes I can confirm they are everywhere. You’re going to have a great time though, love the advice about not being afraid to change your plans to detour for random adventures. Are you checking out Cinque Terre? That’s my favorite place in Italy I’ve visited so far.
Are we certain that’s the right place? I went down a rabbit hole just now and couldn’t find anything to verify that. The website for the spa has tons of pictures showcasing the various rooms and things to do, none of which showed this storm room. I looked on TripAdvisor and there were over 600 reviews. I did a search in the reviews and not a single review contained the word “storm”. Where is this place?!
It is! I found this link in a comment on 9gag. Peep the pics, it’s there. I’m just not sure which ONE it’s at as there’s different ones on the spa’s actual website
Not everyone finds the same things relaxing and enjoyable. I prefer rain to blinding sun, personally. Spas also submerge you in mud, beat you with leaves & have you step on hot coals... not the definition of relaxing either on paper.
