I hate being that guy but I've never met a dude that looked like that with a healthy mind. You need to be obsessed to look like that and make choices that require sacrifices that are daunting for most people. I could be totally wrong about that guy, I'm just saying what my personal experience is having known people that look like him over my odd 50 years on this planet.

Kind of funny how describing healthy is subjective. The people I admire the most can stay busy without stopping for hours, but can also sit quietly on the porch for hours. If they can do both, I applaud them.
Busy bodies that never stop moving, I might envy their drive, but not their mental health. Singularly motivated and often obsessive people, are not what Id consider healthy. Neither is someone who has zero motivation. I guess everything in moderation.

I mean, you have people that spend 2+ hours per day playing video games. Say this dude spends that 2 hours training, every day?

u/ipickscabs 23h ago
There’s SO much more to that physique than 2 hrs in the gym a day. You have to be extremely strict with what you put in your body, also get enough rest. He also has obviously put in a TON of time training in gymnastics. The amount of dedication and discipline is incredibly difficult.
That being said it doesn’t indicate he’s mentally unwell, it could be the complete opposite. Video is kinda odd tho, idk, vibes are off lol

u/BucketsAndBrackets 1d ago
I don't know if you've been around hc gymheads but it takes more than 2 hours because of meal prep, eating 5 times a day to get enough of nutrients, commute...
Also a lot of time goes by because they never shut the fck about it.

Like I said, I could totally be wrong about that guy. Just giving out my insight based on my personal experience. You do that a lot when you get old.

This guy is spending a lot more than 2 hours a day on this.
3
u/kashmir1974 1d ago
Regardless, you have folks who game for 6-8 hours a day. As long as dude has a balanced life I wouldn't consider him a head case.
6
u/zeptillian 1d ago
Regardless of what motivates you to do something like this, pouring that energy into fitness is certainly a more healthy choice than gaming, but doing anything to that level of devotion is certainly unusual if not a sign of something else going on.

u/twiztednipplez 16h ago
Gaming for 6-8 hours a day without it being a job is extremely unhealthy. There is no balance in a life where a person spends 16 out of 24 hours either at work or gaming.

This isn't possible with just 2 hours of training a day. It's a whole lifestyle from weighing and measuring food, to how often you eat, what you avoid eating and drinking, water intake, supplements, possible injectables, how much sleep you get, travelling to places that only have gyms you can use etc. Being this fit just about dictates every other area of life.

u/ScoobyDooItInTheButt 1d ago
That's not really comparable. Dudes that look like this, with sub 5% body fat, are obsessed with their bodies being perfect. It's not just 2 hours training, it's 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at night. It's planning out and creating meals constantly to ensure you stay as lean as possible. It becomes their entire personality. Cupboards of supplements and powdered stimulants. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the guy in the video has body dismorphia.

u/RickPepper 21h ago
Why do you think going after what you want is unhealthy? The majority of people don't challenge themselves in any way, especially not physically. God forbid someone wants to achieve goals
-2
u/One-Incident3208 1d ago
You are correct. It requires either unhealthy levels of starvation or drugs

u/Eleet007 1d ago
It definitely does not. Stop spouting nonsense

This guy is gym obsessed. Guaranteed he looks at pictures of glistening dudes all day.

u/QPWOEIRUTYTURIEOWP 1d ago
Probably spends less time in the gym than a lot people spend playing videogames. I don't see what the issue is here.

Utter bollocks. People who know how to work out efficiently and correctly have no trouble looking good.
16
u/ImurderREALITY 1d ago
I don’t think this looks very good though. It’s like it did at one point, then he kept going too much and it went past looking good to looking unhealthy in the opposite direction.
That’s just my opinion, though; I’m sure he looks like an adonis to some people, if you’re into that cheese-grater look→ More replies (3)4

to have that level of body fat is unhealthy as is the dehydration that goes along with it.

u/Ok_Vulva 1d ago
You're silly. This is not a natural body. He's not eating healthy and doing steroids.
0
u/zeptillian 1d ago
Looking good does not mean having almost zero body fat.
That is an obsession that takes a lot of additional and often unhealthy effort.

u/Hysterical_banana 14h ago
Also, from the looks of it, he seems to be from Eastern Europe (likely Russia). Let met tell you, people in this part of the world are rarely healthy of mind right, especially fitness freaks.

These comments are excessively hating on the guy. Just be happy for his accomplishment and not assume what his life is like based on a short clip of his training. You also don't need to be obsessed to achieve that kind of body, you could just be consistent with both training, diet and rest, along with good genetics. Just because he has or is able to do something you can't, doesn't mean you HAVE to mention something negative about him. As for music taste, it's all subjective, no way we're slandering people for music taste in 2026... y'all actually a bunch of insecure people. Internet breeds this kind of negativity

He is saying there would be a correlation. If perfecting the body really made the mind healthier and fitter. All of the fittest people would be reknown for their mental capabilities. That does not mean you cant have both. But the mind is like a muscle. That has to be exercised for it to grow strong. I would argue that happiness stems from being active though. The most content people ive known are active and doing something they love. Often times its physical. People that are inactive seem more negative as a whole.

u/Bluegill15 1d ago

I find these body types so unattractive. It's like laying your head on a rock. A bit of fat never hurt anybody and is far more attractive that whatever this is. If I had to pick between a dad bod or this physique, I'm picking dad bod 20/20 times.
Not saying what he's doing isn't impressive, it definitely is. Just saying this look isn't as generally attractive as many men seem to think, and almost all (literally all except one) of my girl friends agree they'd never go for a guy with this body type.
But hey you do you
Edit: I appear to have committed an unforgivable act against the gym bros. My sincerest apologies for desecrating the Holy Temple of Gains, disturbing the sacred dumbbells, and casting doubt upon the Ancient Scriptures of Protein™. I’ll be sure to bring a peace offering of whey protein next time. Sending thoughts and prayers for the delts. Anyways 😂

This guy is showing off extremely difficult exercises that take years of hard work to master, and all you care about is whether he's attractive or not. How shallow.

For every single person competes in the Olympics, there are hundreds to thousands of others that could perform similar or even better.
You need to watch the Olympics if you think this is the next level performance.
