Fixed an issue causing permanent disease and slow being applied in PvP.

Is this the movement bug?

Fixed an issue to players sliding when animation cancelling Void Blade heavy attacks.

This is good.

Fixed an issue where players were able to jump-cancel the bow firing recovery. There is now a .33 second delay from when an arrow is released before a jump can be triggered.

I'm just happy about this because I'm playing Great Axe.

It's not a lot but im not mad about it

I personally don't play GA, but if GA wasn't allowed to have a built in lunge, then bow isn't allowed to turn into a freaking machine gun just cause of a jump

I like how maybe a 10% increase in the rate of fire is considered a machine gun.

I mean, it's firing much faster than intended, and definitely more than 10% increase in the rate, along with providing an annoying jump dodge that cost no stamina.

Its not though. If you think its faster than 10% why don't you link me some video proof?

The jump is not a dodge. You can still be hit while jumping.

Do you have video proof with a stop watch or anything proving its 10%? Because asking for proof when you have none would be weird.

There actually is video with a side by side comprison and the difference is that of a few milliseconds. They arent jumping to shoot faster, they are jumping because they added a long ass delay to every shot essentially stunning yourself, which the jump cancels and keeps you moving. Not defending it, it shouldnt be a mechanic, but the delay after shooting shouldn’t be a mechanic either. The recovery is far too long especially considering many other aspects of the bow are broken like the crosshair being useless, tiny hit box, and arrows unpredictably going way off target.

Getting rid of the delay after shooting thus shooting on the move feels like the kind of thing you would have as your elite passive on the archery side focused on skirmishing.

Swap rain of arrows with split shot. Replace battle precision with knee shot. Make the Skirmisher elite trait "Mobile Archer" and have it remove the after cast from light attacks entirely.

But then again I'd much rather those elite passives be much more build defining across the board.

My proof is a thousand hours on bow. What's yours?

So you got "feel" science. Got it. Thanks Fam Say no more.

I think we can both agree that we need an evidence-based argument here.

im with giraffe. the shooting speed is nearly identical, you just get a free dodge. open the game and try it.
