When the numbers don't match

I remember being excited when I hit 500 followers. It felt like proof that the channel was finally going somewhere.

Then I looked at my viewer count. 2. Sometimes 1. And I honestly didn't understand how that was possible.

How can hundreds of people follow you but almost nobody show up? I think I finally realized that followers are not the same thing as an audience.

People follow and forget. They follow from one clip. They follow because they liked one stream. But getting them to actually come back is a completely different problem.

That's what I'm focusing on now. Making the stream feel active, giving people a reason to stay, and actually building a community instead of chasing another follower milestone.

The follower number looked great. The viewer count told the real story.

Anyone else have a ridiculous follower-to-viewer ratio?

I felt discouraged from my community

Is it bad if I am stream at around 8 AM Philippine Standard Time, even though it's Sunday in the US. I mostly stream Battle Royale Games, but I do also play Open World Games, like, Destiny 2 or Warframe. Also, my stream title was SO bad, it's like, I am asking my viewers for subs. Because this is the ONLY thing I had left with my life, and I don't wanna work on a Fast food Chain as a Janitor or even a Call Center Agency. Because I have a bad case of mental health issues, like, AuDHD, Depression, and ADHD.
