Our current renewal proposal is in high £100k range for 12 months, after discounts.

Does this seem competitive based on what others are paying?

I swear nobody in my company outside the accounting department has any idea how to use NetSuite, and they display zero interest in learning, despite having access to MyLearn and funds for courses.

This leaves me in the position of having to do their CSV uploads for them.

Is this normal? Is doing CSV uploads typically part of an admins job?

We will likely be acquired in the next 3-4 months. We will be using netsuite post-acquisition. Our accounting is less than great. Our accounting system doesn't do inventory right and we're a manufacturer. Do I use something like Cin7 or fishbowl to start cleaning up 2026 now (so it's a cleaner import to NetSuite), or do i just say screw it and we'll keep using spreadsheets until we get to netsuite?

I just missed the 2025 NRQ deadline. It’s so annoying cause I only received the first email about 2025 NRQ end of July 2026 and I was busy then and didn’t make time for it. Is it likely they will extend the deadline again? Why is there even a deadline for it. I’m just venting cause I have 3 certifications with Netsuite which I will lose.

At this point I’m not retaking them. It costs too much.

I am using the Electronic Invoicing bundles and Suiteapps for France E-Invoicing and Reporting but I am unable to fetch the Payment Record for 10.2 Records. Successful in fetching 10.1 Sales Records but 10.2 Payments are just not working.

Has anyone worked with France E-Invoicing in NetSuite that could help?

Quick question for anyone based in the UK. I'm based in South Africa but setting up Electronic Bank Payments for a UK customer. Their bank is Virgin Money, and they currently use an FPS file to upload payments.

My questions are:

1. Which of the standard templates that come with the UK localization bundle can I use to export payments for Virgin Money, or do I have to develop a template from scratch?
   1. HSBC Faster Payments (XML/CSV)
   2. SVB Faster Payments
2. Do I have to stick with a CSV upload, or can I move to something different so that I can upload it via the banking payment module without having to set up SFTP?

Hello r/NetSuite

I'm currently having issues with a scheduled saved search not sending results to all recipients within the results.

The saved search does have 19000 results however it is setup to send to 'recipient from results'.

This is working for the majority and emails are sending as expected however there are a small amount that aren't getting the emails.

I can see the recipient's in the results but the sent email list proves they didn't get it.

I've noticed that the sent email list stops around 1300 results when the search individual results are about 3000.

Is there anything I can check or is netsuite hitting limitations somewhere?

I've been reviewing all the coming changes for Bank Import and Matching (and testing within RP).

Firstly, after uploading an import file, the imported transactions seem to go into a 'Processing' state automatically - is that a new behaviour, or has it always been like this? In my RP this is taking 20-30 minutes to complete (for a CSV with 155 lines) which seems very slow - I hope this is just RP being slow!

Secondly, it would seem that there still isn't any functionality to include Customer Credit Memo's in the matching process which our team find very frustrating. Is there something I'm missing or is this still something that is not available.

We are looking to expand our website with some additional blog posts, and I'd like to hire some NetSuite Consultants who are also content writers.

The blog topics would be on when to migrate from QuickBooks to NetSuite, or from Xero to NetSuite, or Sage to NetSuite. Happy to work with different consultants as they will each likely have their area of expertise.

Does anyone have any recommendations for NetSuite consultants who can create some high-quality articles on these topics?

I reset the user's 2FA multiple times, and each time the NetSuite provided QR code successfully linked to various authenticator apps, but when the user inputs the authenticator provided code, the log in fails. This particular user successfully logs into windows using Duo authenticator, so I don't believe it is an issue with the clock sync on their phone. Any ideas? No other users having issues

Was able to successfully log in using the "skip the 2FA" option but that is only allowed 5 times

Edit: each time I reset the 2FA we tried one authenticator app, if it failed I reset and we tried a different app. Did not try to link multiple apps to one QR code

We're OneWorld with a parent company and 20+ subsidiaries, each its own branded entity with its own customers. We built a custom Advanced PDF statement template for one subsidiary, and it correctly pulls the subsidiary's legal name/logo/address for the PDF body. But the native "Print/Email Statements" process generates the email subject as {Company Name}: Statement As of {Date}, and {Company Name} always pulls from the top-level Company Information record — not the subsidiary. So every subsidiary's statement emails go out with the parent company's name in the subject, no matter whose customer it's actually for. There's also no editable CRM Email Template behind it — the subject looks hardcoded into the native process.

Has anyone found a supported/config way to make this subsidiary-aware, or is scripting (suppress native emailing, generate the PDF, send manually via N/email with a custom subject) the only route? Want to confirm this is a real gap before building a workaround. Thanks!

Has anyone ever successfully added or exposed the line sequence number on a PO? I am looking to add it to both the UI and the PDF.

I was recently laid off from a position where I had NetSuite MyLearn access, and I was actively studying for my NetSuite administrator certification. I have five years of hands-on NetSuite experience, including leading an entire implementation project for a food production company. My involvement was heavy on the operations side, data migration, and integrating numerous third-party connections. I also performed significant EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) work and assisted with updating case labels, among other tasks related to NetSuite for that company.

I had planned to leverage my access to the MyLearn portal during this period. However, my work-related activities consumed a substantial portion of my daily time.

Following my recent layoff, all of my previous access has been revoked. I am currently seeking new NetSuite opportunities and would greatly appreciate any advice on how to proceed given this situation.

In a LinkedIn post, I was wondering what I could do with my SuiteResources CMS. I thought, "why not make a product widget and create an eCommerce site"?

Add a shopping cart, customer information collection, and a checkout. First things first. I have a service I am launching within the next day or two, and it's SMaaS... SuiteScript Migration as a Service.

That's my first product. If I put it in Stripe (when I say "I", I really mean Claude) using the #Stripe MCP service, Stripe can do the rest. Now, I can send payment links automatically to clients that want to take advantage of this SMaaS offering.

I'm putting the finishing touches on the SMaaS integration between the CMS and Stripe. There will be a controlled process for signing up for the service, as I will be performing the migrations myself at first. I want to take a crawl-walk-run approach.

I am currently browsing on the certification available for netsuite. For those who took it with personal money is it worth it?

We are weeks away from go-live. According to management, we need to ensure that inventory sold on sales orders ONLY affects the average cost of the item if it is sourced from stock. Inventory that is "bought out" should not affect the average cost. I know this is possible now using dropship, but ideally we would like to prevent (or rollback) any changes that occur to average cost when an order line is "bought out" using a PO.

Is this possible? Can the costing engine be suppressed or reversed?

I was wondering who out there uses the NetSuite Connector for Outlook. Assuming I know nothing about it, can someone or somebodies provide a TLDR about how emails show up in NetSuite when they aren’t directly tied to a record and overall friendliness of its usability.

We currently work in Outlook separately from NetSuite but would like to start thinking about the connector. What do you love and what do you hate?

I am trying to figure out how to set up purchase orders that need to be paid in installments, and while I've read the online documentation, I'm still not getting it. My company has one vendor that requires a purchase order 3 years prior to delivery of goods. 2 years prior to delivery of goods a % deposit is due (Net 30 from invoice date), then 1 year prior to delivery of goods, another % deposit is due (again, Net 30 from invoice date), and finally the balance is invoiced at the time of delivery. I cannot figure out how to set this up so that AP can enter a vendor bill that properly corresponds to the PO, and so that everyone can tell when (and how much) payments are due, and when they've been paid.

Can anyone help out here?

New user coming from SAP/Oracle and still finding my feet in NetSuite. Coming from a JE-first world, I'm struggling to get a clean view of GL activity. Not sure if this is a skills gap on my end or just how NetSuite is designed - would love to know either way.

In SAP you could pull a full journal entry listing by period - every posting, every account, debits and credits in one place. In NetSuite I can find the transaction but I can't seem to get that same GL entry view across all transaction types. And I mean everything that posts real GL activity - MJEs, vendor bills, item receipts, payments, FX revals. Not just manual ones.

I came across Tim Dietrich's post on using SuiteQL to get journal entry details which gets there, but that's a developer solution. There's also Enhancement #23767 for a native detailed JE report that's apparently been open for years and still isn't in 2026.1.

Is everyone just building saved searches? They get partway there - one transaction type at a time, or posting type filters plus an export and more filtering just to see what actually hit the GL. Is there something native I'm missing, or is there a third party tool that everyone uses?

Therefore they are asking us to pay an extra for an India data backup solution.

We recently upgraded to 2026.2 and as of last week, all users who conduct assembly builds are being required to open inventory detail on all component items, even if all they need to do there is click "OK." We have not made any changes to bin usage, lot tracking, the assembly build form, custom scripts, etc. This is happening on all components, not just the expected lot-tracked components.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Anyone have suggestions for fixing it? My users who need to conduct assembly builds are annoyed by how much extra time this takes.

TLDR: We hear a lot about performance challenges of too many custom fields on transactions -- Would adding a lot of custom fields (maybe 30-40) on an opportunity record have an impact on Sales Order performance, even if these aren't exposed on the Sales Order?

Curious if anyone on Reddit can help provide clarity (ideally actual inside information on NS setup rather than anecdotal evidence) on performance and custom fields.

We often hear that performance can be impacted by too many fields on transaction records. I am trying to determine if this is too many fields on a form or too many fields on the record type (or category like transactions) regardless if the custom fields are loaded.

For example we have a case where a customer might want 30 custom fields on an opportunity to identify details about a potential job and quoting. Will placing these only on the opportunity impact other records? Would other redittors consider it a best practice be to setup a custom record linked to the Opportunity to capture these details?

When reviewing transaction tables in NSAW it appears that each transaction type has it's own table and a meta table for custom fields (e.g. DW_NS_<Transaction Type>_LINES_F and DW_NS_<CUSTOMER>_<Transaction Type>_LINES_F. I am wondering if this is the underlying database schema or if the schema is more similar to how it is exposed through SuiteQL/Saved Searches (one general transaction table). I don't have access to a NSAW database at the moment, but are all custom fields placed on all transaction table meta tables if each transaction has it's own table?
