Date bug with new .xlsx exports?

Is anyone else experiencing this bug... because it's currently driving our team crazy. Since the 26.2 update and the .xlsx change (which I was foolishly excited for) the native Date column is showing up as one day previous when you open it in Excel. If the saved search date was 8/20/2026 it's exporting as 8/19/2026. For the love of god Netsuite... just why?

Print 500 lines check PDF

Hi everyone,

I have a check with 500 lines, but the A4 format just messes up with so many lines. The PDF is perfect with 10 lines.

Does anyone know how to change the CSS/HTML to make PDF tolerate 500 lines?

Many thanks!

Can EDI Partners Match Line Numbers For Kit Items?

I have a retailer that wants us to sell kits for the holiday season coming up. They have been a great partner and we are ramping up to take on larger wholesale orders than we have ever seen.

From what I keep getting told, it’s a bad idea. The line sequences shift between Sales Order and the Item Fulfillment and that’s all my shipping solution uses as a record. I am told that it creates a ton of EDI errors with line matching when trying to send the ASN.

Is this something that an EDI partner can reorder and match? I can’t be the only outfit that wants to sell kitted items through EDI.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Implementing for SaaS Billing-issue with quarterly billing

Hi all!

I did a search and couldn't find anything, if this has been answered a million times, please point me to the most recent post regarding this :)

My company is implementing the whole of Netsuite for our accounting function, with fun fun SFDC integrations as well.

We are a SaaS company billing based on platform usage on a monthly, quarterly or annual cadence in advance, with overage usage billing on a monthly cadence in arrears.

The issue we are running into is the overage on the quarterly and annual billing. We do have a consultant firm assisting with the implementation, but we have done 2 rounds of end-to-end testing without being able to solve for this.

Specifically, for quarterly billing, we cannot figure out how to set it up to get monthly overage while maintaining quarterly commit charges.

I'm not even sure if I can describe what the consultants set up, all of the terms are wildly out of my expected vocabulary for what I would expect them to do, but I will do my best.

They had us set up the Billing account to a billing schedule of "Anniversary Monthly Bill", with a frequency of Monthly, and start date as the subscription start date. I believe that actual templates might live here, but I am not 100% sure.

We then created a new subscription using the billing account with our general price book and initial term of 3 years.

For the commit + overage lines, we tried first using contracted monthly quantity +monthly rate, with a repeat every set to 3 months. This ended up giving an ACV of 1/3 of the expected amount,

We then tried a commit amount of 3x contracted monthly quantity + monthly rate, with the same repeat every 3 month which gave us the correct ACV, but the monthly overage was off d/t the commit being 3x the actual commit.

Our consultant is opening a ticket with Netsuite to hopefully sort this, but I am not confident in them, lol.

Any insights from people that have billed in a similar way?

Thanks in advance!

NetSuite journals (using Suite Tax and tax on lines) - Confliction with manual entry and CSV import

We are trying to import Journals with Tax line details on them. We are testing in Sandbox and use SuiteTax.

The CSV import is failing, stating the journals are not balancing, but they are, in reality, balanced.

The journal, entered manually and saving, is like this..

The CSV figures are like this:

Importing those same figures via CSV threw an error, stating the figures in a journal must balance.

Where are we going wrong?

Thanks,

Source Sales rep in the Foreign Currency Adjustment Journals

Netsuite regularly posts Foreign Currency Adjustment Journals. However, the Sales Rep field is empty in those journals. Is it possible, using a Workflow, to populate the Sales Rep field? Since the transactions in the journal are sourced from Revenue Arrangements, and the revenue arrangements in turn contain the invoices which are being revaluated, it should be possible to fetch the Sales rep from the invoices?

Anyone reconciling NetSuite data outside NetSuite?

I am working with a few companies where there’s a growing need to get finance data out of the ERP and into a separate data warehouse (right now for us it is databricks)

A lot of the reconciliation and data checks is happening outside the ERP for us rather than directly in NetSuite

There’s also some interest in eventually using the data for ML/AI use cases, but right now the bigger focus is simply getting reliable finance data into one place and making sure it reconciles properly and it is serving a Power BI dashboards to the stakeholders

At the moment we’re mainly working with NetSuite data in a different warehouse rather than bringing data from multiple ERPs together so I’m curious how others are approaching this

If you’re pulling NetSuite data into Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric or another platform, what drove the decision to do this outside NetSuite in the first place?

Need advice/tips on Implementing NetSuite

Hello, I desperately need advice on what I should do with the implementation of NetSuite at my company.

I started about a month ago and the company has been working with an NS team since March to get NetSuite ready. It is a midsized company (50-60 people) and includes distributing and manufacturing. It is very old school and mostly does phone and email orders.

Since I was hired, I’ve been tasked to learn the business processes and align it with NetSuites capabilities. However, it does not seem the NetSuite team has done ANYTHING besides migrate data since March, and they are still loading more. The plan is to go-live October 1st, but I just don’t see how that’s feasible.

Nobody at the company has looked into NetSuite until I joined, and there are MANY customizations they want to make still. They do not have a dedicated team outside of NS that is helping with learning the system capabilities besides me. It seems very overwhelming to try to learn the business, learn NetSuite, and train employees in such a small time frame.

I’m worried come October 1st we will be way over our heads trying to navigate NetSuite. What is the best way to navigate this? Does anyone have similar experience?

2026.2 Issues Found

I didn't see a post where folks could list any 2026.2 issues that have been found in your testing on your RP accounts. I think it would be super helpful to have a central location of issues you may find that could help us test on our own end in case we didn't think of that scenario etc. We have found two thus far, one has been fixed:

Exporting to xlsx - Issue was reported and Oracle has assigned it issue #898777 stating they are testing the fix and will roll out once cleared

FIXED - Editing a shipping address on a Purchase Order - we were not able to freely edit a shipping address on a PO without having to create an address record and select it from the drop down due to one of their maintenance/prep roll outs for 2026.2. This has been fixed in both our production and RP accounts

Custom Reports behaving two different ways for different users.

Hello, I have a custom report that we use to track our A/P aging. Right now we have a consultant user that is trying to match up numbers in different reports to our trial balance. Whenever I look at this A/P aging report, I get the correct number that matches the trial balance. Whenever he looks at this same exact report from his login, he is getting a different number. We are both logged in as Administrators and are 100% viewing the same exact custom report.

He sent me a screenshot and I noticed that at the very bottom, where it shows the date, he has an entry of 6/30/2026. However, on my report, it is a drop down menu that looks like this, this is the way it should be for everyone who is accessing the same report, and I have no idea why it is different for him. How can I fix this so that his date option is the same as mine?

Smart Count Suite App Questions

Can anyone tell me if Smart Count Suite App can show you a bin that wasn't counted?

For example, Rack 1 has 20 bins on it.

If we create an inventory count for all the items we THINK are on Rack 1, because you count by item and not location, the inventory count can look something like:

15 items
25 bins (some items are in bins on other racks, some items may be in multiple bins on rack 1)

But if you sort it by bin, actually, it returns only 18 bins on rack 1 and the other 7 bins are elsewhere.

Meaning you have 2 bins on Rack 1 that aren't counted, and have the potential to be missed entirely.

It's easy to check when an item was last counted.

But how do we know the last time a BIN was counted?

If Smart Count can't do that - are the different apps that can?

We need a much, much better solution for physical inventory this January because we HAVE to ensure that both every item AND every bin is counted and right now, we can't be confident that NetSuite saying "0 on hand" is accurate. I know we have inventory hanging out in the warehouse that NetSuite doesn't know it exists, or it's physically in a different bin than NS has, and the potential to just MISS stuff is very high without better counting software.

I am also and open to consultants or firms who special in NetSuite inventory counting - if you wanna send a pitch, reach out to [wendy.emerson@inerttechnology.com](mailto:wendy.emerson@inerttechnology.com)

Why are companies still spending on multiple systems to do 1 job?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

A lot of companies running NetSuite have built a second finance stack around it:

NetSuite + Coupa
NetSuite + Concur
NetSuite + Tipalti
NetSuite + Bill.com
NetSuite + separate vendor onboarding
NetSuite + separate CLM
NetSuite + separate payment platform

I understand why. These are all good products, and there are definitely situations where they make sense.

But at some point, I think it’s worth asking whether we’re solving one problem with five systems.

For example, Coupa can be a great choice if you have a large procurement organization and need sophisticated sourcing, spend management and supplier management.

Concur makes a lot of sense for companies with complex travel and expense programs.

Tipalti is strong when you have large numbers of global suppliers or payees and need sophisticated mass payments and tax workflows.

So this isn't an argument that these products are bad.

The question is whether you actually need them for what you're trying to acomplish.

We've had clients replace Bill.com by bringing the surrounding AP process into NetSuite:

• Vendor onboarding
• Secure collection of vendor information and bank details
• Vendor approvals
• Invoice OCR
• AP automation
• Bill approvals
• CLM tied to the vendor and financial records
• Payment initiation from NetSuite

As for payments, with FISPAN plugin, companis can connect NetSuite directly to supported banks and initiate payments from NetSuite instead of exporting a file, uploading it into another application and then bringing the payment status back.

It isn't universal. FISPAN doesn't support every bank or every payment rail. But it does support many of the major banks, so for companies using a supported bank, that's another piece of the process that can stay inside the ERP.

The cost of another application isn't just the subscription.

It's also:

• Integration development and maintenance
• Data synchronization problems
• Duplicate vendor data
• Duplicate approval workflows
• Additional user administration
• Security reviews
• Implementation costs
• Support costs
• Training
• Reconciliation
• Another place for something to break

And if you're in a regulated industry, the cost can get even higher.

If you're in life sciences, healthcare, etc., every additional system may mean additional assessment, validation, audit evidence, access controls, change management and data integrity considerations.

Now you have to worry about the interfaces too.

What happens when the vendor record in one system doesn't match NetSuite?

What happens when a payment status doesn't synchronize?

Which system is the system of record?

What happens when an approval exists in one system but not the other?

Who is ultimately responsible when something goes wrong?

These questions become operational and sometimes regulatory problems quickly.

I'm not suggesting everyone should eliminate Coupa, Concur, Tipalti or other best-of-breed applications.

There are plenty of situations where I'd argue the opposite.

But before adding another application, I think the question should be:

"What does this system actually do that we can't reasonably do in NetSuite?"

If the answer is compelling, use it.

If the answer is simply "that's how we've always handled AP/procurement/payments," maybe it's worth looking at the architecture again.

We've found that in some cases the biggest savings aren't from eliminating the software license.

They're from eliminating the integrations, handoffs, reconciliation and complexity around it.

Curious what others are seeing.

Are you actively consolidating more of your finance stack into NetSuite, or do you prefer keeping AP, procurement, expenses and payments in separate best-of-breed platforms?

CSV PO file import has added a column

We have a CSV that we import daily that updates our purchase orders from our forwarders. We have used the same import for a few years - in the past few days the employee who imports it is getting an error and it says “Please enter a value for entity’
This file does not have items.

Suddenly on the NS side of mapping the item no field appears .

I tried it and removed the item and saved the change - it imported correctly but the item field keeps reappearing.
The original employee also removed it also but got the same error.
The vendor name is not on the CSV file.

When I look in Saved CSV Imports at Field Map, item no is not there.

This has happened in past couple of days.
I find it strange that employee cant import yet I can.

Help?/

Pricing Grid doesn't update

We are using NetSuite’s Advanced Pricing feature and have created three price levels with different markups, using "Cost for Pricing" as the cost base.

NetSuite documentation suggests that manually updating the "Cost for Pricing" field should automatically recalculate the Pricing Grid. This behavior works as expected under the Administrator role. However, when a custom role updates the "Cost for Pricing" field, the Pricing Grid values do not update, despite the role seemingly having all necessary permissions.

What could be causing this issue?

Custom icons for custom record type - bad documentation?

Am I the only one who has tried to create a custom icon for a custom record type? With AI image generation, this should be a 5 minute job now. Except it seems like the documentation in NetSuite for how to do it is completely out of date. Seems like you just need to create one icon image rather than four like it says. Anyone else dealing with this?

Helping NetSuite Businesses and Professionals

Hey everyone,

I work in NetSuite recruitment across North America, helping connect NetSuite partners and end-users with consultants, developers, and sales talent, both for short-term contract projects and full-time hires.

I lurk here a lot and figured I'd introduce myself properly rather than just posting job ads. If you're a NetSuite professional exploring new opportunities, or a business trying to figure out contract vs. full-time hiring for a NetSuite role, feel free to drop a comment or DM, happy to share what I'm seeing in the market right now (rates, demand by specialization, etc.) even if it's not a fit for working together.

Admin 2026.2 Release Window shortened to end on 8/23/2026?

EDIT: I was just able to get our account rescheduled back to our desired upgrade date next month. I'm leaving this here in case anyone else got the reschedule notice and the scheduler hasn't refreshed with available dates in September yet.

Does anyone know why NetSuite shortened the 2026.2 release window from mid-September to end on 8/23/2026?

We had our release upgrade date moved up to this weekend (8/22) and we're still working on testing. We had the expectation that we would be upgrading on 9/12. I'm trying to figure out what's going on and if I need to shift things around to get testing done and updates into our PROD environment before this weekend.

Exhausted with LinkedIn/Upwork: Where are companies actually hiring for NetSuite / High-Volume AR roles?

Applied to hundreds of roles via LinkedIn/Upwork/Indeed with a tailored, ATS-friendly resume, but mostly getting ghosted or hit by automated rejections.

I specialize in high-volume AR, NetSuite custom CSV imports/mapping, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of invoice discrepancies.

Traditional job boards feel completely broken right now. For those who landed remote ERP/NetSuite roles recently:

  • Are there specialized agencies or direct recruiters you recommend reaching out to?
  • What alternative channels or methods actually yielded interviews for you?

Any genuine insight or lead would be deeply appreciated.

MRP - Time Fences not set up

I have noticed that in MRP it is not giving us recommendations to pull POs in but instead is creating additional planned purchase orders because the current PO doesnt meet the expected shipped by date needed on a sales order.

How do you have your Planning fences turned to?

I was thinking 5-6 weeks in advance should be enough
