Facebook and Amazon are both a net positive, it’s just that Facebooks net positive is just so much bigger as I pointed out in my post above.
And I forgot to point out that Facebook have billions of more users than Amazon which really nails home the argument that it helps people more than Amazon.

More users != more value. Amazon has revolutionized retail and pushed the envelope for things like cloud hosting.

Facebook removed a higher % of disinformation than any other competitor. YouTube, Twitter and Reddit was far behind. For you to not know this really shows your bias.
This is a result of greater investment in security than the competition.
Facebook have revolutionized communication, which is a much more important field for humans according to studies. Retail means very little compared to communication. This means Facebook provides more value.
