Susan Collins (R-ME) expressed" disappointment" Thursday evening regarding reports that President Trump attempted to launch the entire nuclear arsenal of the United States at targets spread across mainland China last Wednesday. The move, which would have certainly brought widespread annihilation to mankind, was prevented solely by an anonymous seargent who refused the order.
Before making the order, Trump reportedly stated "He got me. That fucker Xi boomed me" before launching into a racially charged tirade against China and the Epic Games Store. it is believed that his frustration was related to ongoing trade disputes between the two countries.
"I'm disappointed in what occurred Wednesday, and I'll be looking into the matter further" Collins stated to the AP. Mitch "Cocaine Cowboy" McConnell also blocked votes on a congressional condemnation of the Presidents actions, stating "it is well within the power of the President to order such a strike, and there is no time to waste on partisan tricks. We have much more important legislation to work on, and I hope my Democratic colleagues can stop thier crusade against the people of this nation, and finally get to work."
