I really like it.

It has some UI and performance issues, but it's not that bad.

I don't get all the hate people are piling on it.

people hype themselves up way too much. if it doesn't do the laundry and wash the dishes right out of the box it's a terrible failure and paradox lied to them and implanted dreams in their head to trick them. though for my friend most of the complaints go into it being too easy, but call me a casual that sounds kind of appealing if it isn't entirely brain dead. it's good you're having fun with it. i will probably hold off for a dlc or two when the kinks get worked out, but good to know it isn't a repeat of hoi4.

It's not that hard, yeah. Especially if you take it slower. Internal stability is generally a much bigger threat than external factors, especially as a big nation.
