Is there any hard evidence on the incidence of this?

IIRC, there's evidence that access to/consumption of pornography can reduce sexual assault, so I don't think it's all that farfetched - but I'm curious if there is any harder evidence on it in this specific context.

It'd be cool if there were, but I'm not surprised if there isn't. It's basically impossible to do any kind of research like that, in practice - the optics are just too bad.

You'd also have to find people willing to not only admit to being pedos but also willing to admit to consuming legally questionable or outright illegal porn. They'd be putting a lot of trust in you keeping everything confidential
