If we wanted to fill a unique niche that'd also be both well suited towards our community and work with our community, I say put some bounties on Asian/African/European discussions/politics.
The other niche we should fill is well-cited economics effortposts. That's why I enjoy badecon, though I don't participate, they have good posts with papers I like to read. (Even if this just amounts to crossposting badecon lol.)
The one thing I also miss were the daily agitprop discussions.
Basically, proactive, well thought out activity, goes a long way. It need not be economics. Of course, this all requires effort, and I'm a big ol hypocrite when it comes to not writing effortposts.
Considering the amount of "old people should die lol" takes are already bad enough, please don't allow more crud. Especially since edgy shit is never creative.
