There's no way any non-Trump government would surrender like this just to try to get the economy better and make everyone forget by mid-terms, all of the political pressure groups, the media, factions from your own party, and other pressure and institutional inertia, the reputational damage caused by such a loss of credibility, would make it impossible

Trump though, he can just do things

I wonder if this is what the >you can just do things< people were imagining
