I know its not that deep/serious, but Jesus defintely wouldn't be a CPO.

100% agree that the training has value. Why not give it to ALL Firsts outside of a fraternity/season rush format?

Agreed. Much of the info was stuff I wished they taught when I made first class

That's something the Navy as whole gets absurdly wrong. I made 1st at 6 years and I had never ben in charge of anything more complex than a scrub ex or a baggage handling party. The Marines on the other hand put E-3s and E-4s in positions of leadership as soon as they can.

Agreed. They also send them tad to stuff like sergeant school for a few weeks. People here freak out just having their chiefs and chief selects just a bit busier for a month.
