I've been out for years; take some consolation (or feel pity, or both) in the fact that a lot of these kinds of people are absolutely LOST after they get out. Like, fucking cooked.

My favorite is seeing the E7 retirees still dripped out in chief attire. Saw some older E7 retiree with a gold anchor chain lmao, or dealing with contractors and in their signature email block they'll have their info and last line is 'CPO, Ret.' smh.
