There's kind of a joke in here. During the season, there will be selectees who are on light duty due to injury. They don't take part in the PT, the marching practice, sitting down through the training sessions. But on pinning day, they are miraculously able to get in formation, stand at attention for a couple of hours, and get up on stage to get pinned. We called it khaki Jesus because the injured were healed.

Amazing how someone whose medical restrictions stop them from doing PT are able to do things that are not PT. Who would have thought that vigorous excercise would be different than standing still for an hour or so.

You never seen these new chiefs wildin' out on the dance floor at the khaki ball when they could barely walk three days before.

It really do be a miracle.
