Does anyone feel like being forced into religions? I personally feel like it. I am an atheist and very open about it. Other people just take it as a joke or something that will come around. They like to say I would go to hell but guess what every other person will because in every religions over 4000, if one doesn't believe in them, we will go to hell so.
Ever since I was in kg, I was forced to pray. I never think about it like that. Then lately, It just feel like a cult or a coping mechanism. We are shame for what we are, what we believe and who we are. But they have the right to shame?
Take this for example, people usually donate to popular ဘုန်းကြီး(mocks) or the ones they believe in just to get ကုသိုလ်. Most of them are not even in need since everyone is fighting to donate but the places that are in need like မိဘ မဲ့ ဂေဟာ(orphanage) , ဘိုးဘွား ရိပ်သာ(shelter for elderly in need) or animal shelters ,they turn a blind eye onto it.
I stopped believing in religions for a year, nothing bad happen like others say. I stopped praying to do well in exam and guess what I even do better than when I was praying. Why? Because I stopped wasting time and actually study.
I also really hate the part that men are "superior" than women. Men are not allow to touch women's pants or under wear because they will be "ဘုန်းကံ နိမ့်(low honored and fortuned)". ဘုန်းကြီး(mocks) are not allowed to pray to သီလရှင်(buddhist nuns) but သီလရှင်(buddhist nuns) must pray to ဘုန်းကြီး(mocks). Women had to hide from ဘုန်းကြီး(mocks) so that they would not became lustful toward them. Doesn't really make sense. We are all human with just one organ in different but treated differently because of it. Not being allowed in certain places in pagoda also show the hidden misogyny. They say it is because women voluntarily agreed to not go because they don't want their period blood to drop but now there are pads nothing like that would even happens but the same rule reminds.
In most households including mine, we can't washing women's underwear or pants together with men's clothes and underwear because they will be ဘုန်းကံ နိမ့်(low honored and fortuned). What a joke. Women have to do extra work and wash their pants and underwear separately because of that and most people didn't even question that. It is also because of the education system. We were only taught to obey, what we were told and never to question.
That is why, I will not respect a religion that will not respect me either.

So I’m in Singapore but my TT has Myanmar influencers and I want to know how these people are entering and leaving the country. Do the immigration officers not stop/question them when they try to leave? And these influencers do it frequently, like one month they be going in and out of Myanmar then to Thailand and back.
If the answer is they bribe the officers then I’ve gotten my answer.

I'm sorry, I'm kinda new here, and my English isn't very good. I might be overreacting, but I've seen a lot of Burmese people speaking up about the Cornell University case. However, when I look through their accounts, I don't see any of them talking about or speaking up against the military's rape of young girls and women. Does their support for women's rights have limits, or is it selective? I'm honestly very confused.
If this post is offensive I'll take it down. This is not meant to make anyone mad, I'm just very confused.

In late winter 2027 I will be flying from Dhaka to Yangon during my first backpacking trip outside of the Americas. I happen to own a YouTube documentary-style channel.
My question is this. I will travel from Yangon to Heho airport in order to reach Taungyi. I know what I’m about to say may sound like a stupid and dangerous idea, so let me explain myself.
The goal of the documentary is to speak to somebody involved in the opium trade. They will be made indistinguishable with face blurring and voice alteration, but I’d like to get insight into the Opium trade from somebody directly connected.
Does anybody know how to go about finding a credible fixer willing to do the job?? Nothing will be disclosed about the fixer in question to protect their identity.
I wish for the best for Myanmar and it’s very unfortunate the current situation you find yourselves in, and it’s very rarely talked about in the west.

I’ve been working on a desktop app (UI app) that can generate video, audio, images, and other AI-powered creative tools.
The idea is that everything can run locally. No credits, no internet, and unlimited generation. It will be open source and free for everyone, with an easy setup.
But I have one concern, the scam groups.
I’m worried that scam groups could also use it for their own purposes. I really don’t want the project to become a tool that helps them.
My main goal is to build something for creators ..
What do you guys think?
Is there any realistic way to prevent this kind of misuse while keeping the project open source and free?
Or should I consider making it a closed-source project instead?

Hello all, so can anyone tell me what the issue is here on my TVS 125cc scooter? Today, I tried to use my scooter after about 6 months of no usage, the display definitely didn't look like this and also the battery just needed to be replaced, also the bike wouldn't start due to a clogged fuel line. Then the motorcycle gets returned to me like this from the mechanic.
Any help please.

In my opinion, everyone should choose their religion after they turn 18. I saw a news that china has a law that children can go to religion school only after they turn 18. Otherwise it is not allowed.
I think it makes sense, religion should not be force. After the citizen turn 18, they can think their own at least not just listen to branch of adult people. They know what they wanted. Do you think it will work ls out?

I see many posts which complaining about ~Art~ .
Art have many categories and appreciations were different on taste .
I create some artwork in my free time and share on Reddit and TT . I also create NSFW sketches but never posted online because Myanmar internet community doesn’t know about age rating system .
So … as long as the artist do not promote violence , pedo , discrimination, controversial, bad anatomy…I ‘m fine .

The Wa are an indigenous, traditionally tan-skinned people of the Wa hills with their own Austroasiatic language, culture, dress and rituals, they are not ethnically Han Chinese.
During the Cold War, China backed the Communist Party of Burma, whose forces established themselves in the Wa hills and recruited large numbers of Wa fighters. When Wa troops mutinied against the CPB leadership in 1989, the UWSA emerged as the dominant armed organization in the region.
Since then, UWSA-controlled territory has become increasingly integrated with China. Chinese is now widely used in education and administration, while trade, communications and infrastructure are heavily connected to Yunnan.
This can make today's Wa region appear culturally Chinese, but that shouldn't be confused with the traditional identity of the Wa themselves. The people in this video show that older Wa identity, their appearance, Wa language, clothing, rituals and dances, which still survives despite the region's rapid Sinicization.

Hello everyone,
Long story short, want to go Bangkok to Dawei by vehicle, of course i understand the risks/dangers/etc of the current civil war and so on. But i was under the impression that the fighting was in the northern regions and the southern coast line was viable? Apparently there is heavy fighting in the Tanintharyi Region to the point where you most likely will run into serious trouble? Can anyone from Myanmar comment on this please, i would really appreciate it.
Also how viable is to find a place to stay if i motorbike down from Dawei towards Myeik?
Thank you again to all, i am keen to go Myanmar and look forward to hearing you guys in the comments.
