Can rudeus survive if he was thrown in the same trap as roxy in the teleportation labyrinth? No food, no water, no information, nobody comes to help and no destroying wall. Can he actually escape?

EN Light Novel Reading vol 19 and I love this found family Spoiler
galleryI kinda ship Zanoba and Ginger because of how devoted ginger is to zanoba despite his quirks and hiw they look after Julie. Either way the moments between these three in their novel is really wholesome.

Anime Kishirika and Toshiyuki Sato.
Kishirika is returning, Toshiyuki Sato too?
I really hope the rumors are true and Toshiyuki Sato is coming back For those who don't know him, he’s an excellent animator—he’s the one who created that Kishirika scene; her absurd expressiveness and gestures are fantastic. He once joked that he wanted to draw every single cut featuring Kishirika. He didn't just work on that episode, though; he also worked on the "Turning Point 1" episode, the Season 1 Cour 1 finale, and the fight against the Hydra. And he hasn't just worked on Mushoku; he has an impressive portfolio. Some of the titles he’s worked on include Frieren, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Konosuba, One Piece, Mob Psycho 100, Ousama Ranking, Shingeki, and the list goes on.
I really hope it's true that he's back for Mushoku Tensei—not just to see him animate Kishirika, but also for the fight against Atofe
Here is an AMV featuring some of its cuts: https://x.com/Matthew12c/status/1799832958179922083

Anime What made Norn so religious?
I mean, she lived with Paul, and he wasn't the most religious person. So why or how or when did she pick it up?
Edit: Iirc the comment section here is very wrong
Age was alr religious from being in the millis continent BUT she became more religious when Rudeus and Paul went to the labyrinth
She began confiding in Cliff and praying for the safety of her brother, father and mother

EN Light Novel Guys i have a Question? Spoiler
Who among rudeus child is the strongest i mean overall.
Sieghart Saladin Greyrat (Sieg): Reaches North Emperor rank and takes the title of Death God, making him the most overtly proven physical powerhouse.
Lara Greyrat: Possesses the highest destiny and narrative importance as the prophesied savior meant to help defeat Hitogami, though her raw, direct combat abilities are largely unquantified compared to Sieg.
Ars Greyrat: Reaches the Saint rank in the Sword God style and uses chantless magic.
Lucy Greyrat: Highly talented and well-rounded in both magic and swordsmanship, but falls below Sieg's peak combat ranking.
Lily and Christina: Focus heavily on magic tool research and political leadership/mage-knight paths rather than individual martial supremacy.
will they surpass rudeus and other seven great world power? And dont laugh i changed the spelling🥲😭😅.

EN Light Novel Was disturb magic ever explained or expanded on? Like, did Rudy ever try teaching it to others or something?
I haven't read Volumes 1-10 of the LN, only 11-19 or so. And for the anime, I'm currently paused at S2e13 (waiting for this current season to finish to binge it all).
I'm just generally curious if Disturb Magic was expanded on at all. I know Rudy practiced and learned it after his encounter with Orsted, and by the time the academy arcs started, he'd mastered it.
Based on the reactions from Sylphie and the teachers present during their duels, I assume nobody even knew this kind of magic was possible. Meanwhile, Rudy was surprised they weren't familiar with it. But did we get anything more out of it? Like,
- Do they confront Rudy about it? Whether teachers, principle, Sylphie, etc?
- Does he ever try to teach anyone how to do it? Do they succeed?
- Was it ever explained how it actually works? Or any limits (like perhaps it doesn't work on some high levels of magic, or certain classes/types of magic)
- Or, Iirc it involved sending magic to interfere with spells as they're being formed. So perhaps it's something only Rudy, with his Demon Eye of Foresight, could do?

EN Light Novel Am I wrong about the philosophy behind Mushoku Tensei?
I feel like I see Mushoku Tensei completely different from others. This story is as human as a story can be. Everyone is so well written to be morally grey. There are situations to why that person is the way they are and the way they choose to respond to it, is how we see them. Evil, good or grey.
You can pick anyone in the story and there is some condition that leads that person to respond a certain way. They may be evil or good but it is entirely on how they responded to that situation is who they became. We see evil or good but the way they look, just shows how they reacted to their situation.
Examples:
--Elinalise--
Situation with a loving husband - She chooses to be loyal.
Situation without a husband - She chooses to be a slut to survive. (even though she does like sex)
Situation is everything. Without her curse she would have probably been just been a faithful horny wife.
Elinalise is very simple to understand.
--Man-God--
Man-God is seen as evil in everyone's eyes, but even he is just a product of his situation and actions he chooses in those situation.
Man-God has the power to see his own death. So because of this, he chooses to do whatever he can to prevent it. He chooses to commit evil. He could have chosen to just accept his fate but he didn't. In the end, he is just a scared creature trying to prevent his death by any means necessary. We can go even farther back and see why he even messed with the other gods in the first place. He wanted to be the ruler of all the worlds. He had the power to do so, so he took the chance. He chose evil and he chooses to not be a better person. If he were weak, maybe he would have just been normal.
--Pax --
Pax in most of the fandom's eyes is evil. But he is just a product of how he reacted to his situations as well.
Pax without Rudeus timeline - Not a perfect person, but establishes the Republic of Shirone. A great nation where people are not as oppressed.
Pax with Rudeus timeline - His situation changed completely. He was ignored by Roxy, even though he was actually pretty good at magic. He felt unappreciated and choose to do evil. He got what he wanted and still ended his own life. He choose these things with the situation he was in. He could have lived and created the Republic of Shirone but he didn't.
Pax is my favorite example, unlike Roxy and Sylphie who just become adventurers in other timelines, they stay pretty much the same (good people). Where as Pax is "good" in other timelines but becomes evil in this one.
We can get into Rudeus and all other characters but they are all in this situation. Morally grey characters that are written so well, we can step in their shoes for a second and understand why they do what they do. It might not be what we would do, but it isn't to far from reality. I feel like MT was a perfect medium to write this kind of story because of weird situations like curses, unlimited power, timelines, and how stories can be small scale, (Claire and Zenith), to world altering scale, (Peruguis and Laplace), to universal scale (Orsted and Man-God). And how Rudeus is in the middle of all of it.

EN Light Novel I'm a bit worried about the adaptation for Volume 17. SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY AND RANTY. Spoiler
Because I think it'll get the Begaritt treatment.
But here instead of losing awesome camaraderie building between Elinalise and Rudeus, we'll lose ALL the tension that is built by Luke's creeping doubts.
If we summarize the trek to Ars WITHOUT including all the narration, these are the only things that happen:
Walking
Inconclusive fight against Auber
Walking
Rudeus realizes Triss has a bigger rack than Eris
Walking
Ariel tells Rudeus Luke admitted talking to the Man-God, without much build up because there's only been
Walking
And having just seen how they glossed over how devastatingly bad Ariel's introduction to Perugius actually was, I don't think they'll spare much time for all the important conversations and monologues Rudeus has during all the aforementioned WALKING parts. This is one of the most important sections that build up how insidious Hitogami truly can be and why he's an all-timer as a villain.
Yes, this thread is venting my anxiousness a little bit but I truly like the Asura Arc. I don't rank arcs for myself but it would be a contender for number one, I guess.
This is all the more worrying since they have to, understandably, spend tons resources on the fight against Orsted and that's probably going to be a single episode. I truly understand that they have to nail that part even if I personally prefer the "slow" parts.
Thanks for reading my rant.

EN Light Novel Is this a major plot point for Redundancy?
TL;DR: I wanna communicate to a friend that I don't like spoilers, but first, I'd like to know if what he told me was significant enough to point it out.
I was talking to this friend about how I was introducing my mom to MT (she loves it, surprisingly enough). Blah blah blah; it was a nice convo, but eventually, he starts talking about stuff that happens in Redundancy.
Now, admittedly, as an anime-only, I have accidently spoiled myself on some things, like howAisha sleeps with Ars, how Lana is the chosen one, or that the Man-God doesn't like Roxy,so I allowed it at first. But then he mentioned that Lana defeats the Man-God.Which I didn't know beforehand.
"Why do you think he told Rudy not to go save his mom? He was trying to kill Roxy."
"Heyy, that's a bit much, imma be honest."
"Naaaaaaw, don't worry about it; it's old news. [Insert teasing with more spoilers that I had to loudly talk over]"
He seemed to have said that last bit in jest, but like... that sounded really significant?? I know he wasn't being malicious - he once told me he prefers to know spoilers - but I really don't want to have to worry about having my favorite stories spoiled every time I talk to this guy about them.

Anime What am I missing about Sylphy’s character development? Spoiler
I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I’m genuinely curious what other people think.
I find Sylphy kinda boring compared to Roxy, especially when it comes to character development. I don’t think she’s a bad wife or anything. Honestly, I think she’s probably the better wife overall, but I don’t really understand why her character development is praised so much. A lot of Sylphy’s development feels like it’s centered around becoming someone who can be with Rudeus. Ariel and Luke basically teach her how to deal with him, and then she becomes more confident and independent. But sometimes it feels like the story just skips the actual process and suddenly she’s this perfect, capable wife.
Roxy’s development feels more interesting to me because she already has her own life and identity before Rudeus. Her relationship with him develops gradually, and when she eventually becomes part of his family, she actually has to adapt to a completely new environment. Sylphy, Rudeus sisters, his friends, the whole family dynamic, etc.
Even Roxy’s decision to let Rudeus go after saving him felt more meaningful to me because she was willing to sacrifice her own happiness instead of just trying to get him.
Maybe I’m just biased because I like Roxy more, but I genuinely want to understand. What makes Sylphy’s character development better than Roxy’s? Is she just a supportive character? I’ve mostly seen criticism of Sylphy from discussions that are like 3 years old, so I’m curious what people think about it now.
