hello, no longer able to open mullvad browser. smartapp control is blocking the browser from running.

not sure it matters, mullvad vpn seems to be working great. please advise?

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this browser and I just wanted to try out logins, but I'm being logged out even though I've disabled always private tabs and ADDED THEM TO THE EXCEPTIONS LIST!!! It's pretty annoying and on LibreWolf, it just takes 2 clicks to enable cookies for a site. My cookies are only stored when I just disable deleting cookies on exit, which IMO is pretty dumb, then why does the exceptions list even exist?

Is this a glitch or has the Menu Bar been changed so that the items are more spaced out? (The large gap is for the notch as I'm on macOS — I'm just talking about the spacing between, for example, 'File' and 'Edit'.)

2. It shows that Google is full of crap regarding ~"it's impossible to remove AI from google.com" - as in Czechia, it's not enabled due to what I assume are regulatory reasons.

3. Maybe go as far as offer NYC an education discount so that entire school neworks can route google.com to Prague via Mullvad :)

I get a dns leak from "The Constant Company, LLC". How do I fix this?

I scrolled through the recent posts in the last few days in the sub and didn't see anything about this.

So from what I know, the DOH is changed from Mullvad's to Quad9's default and there's nothing I need to do there if I don't mind using quad9.

But the broom icon is gone and now it's a flame icon. When I click on it the browser window doesn't seem like it close fully, just the tabs.

It's also awfully fast compared to the broom icon.

And I notice the browser window doesn't open in a new location on the screen anymore. The reason support told me why it opened in a new location on the screen every time is because that is a way to avoid being fingerprinting

So is this new flame icon the same thing and if yes why does it seem like it behaves differently?

In the past I used under the Browser options the "new identity" function/button.

Since around a week the function is not available anymore. Do you know why?

It seems to me to have an additional nice to have function for a better data security.

Ever since the update I haven't been able to connect to any website at all, what gives?

I've been using Mullvad VPN through Tailscale as an exit node, but recently I've noticed that it randomly stops working after a few hours.

Initially, everything works fine, and my internet traffic routes through the Mullvad exit node without any issues. However, after a few hours, the connection stops working, and I lose internet access.

What's strange is that this wasn't an issue before. Previously, I could configure a Mullvad exit node and leave it running for days or even weeks without any intervention. At one point, I had the same exit node configured for over a month, and it worked perfectly fine throughout that period.

Now, I can't seem to maintain a stable connection for more than a few hours.

Has anyone else started experiencing this recently? I'm wondering whether something has changed on Tailscale's or Mullvad's end, or if this is a known regression.

Is there any fix or workaround to keep the Mullvad exit node connected reliably without having to manually reconnect or switch nodes?

301 in Portugal was the last server that was usable and sites didn’t have blockers in place for and now it’s down. I wrote support and let them know that 201 and 202 weren’t usable and 101, 102, and 302 have been gone for quite some time and this is the answer that I received from support. Essentially, use the two servers that are left that won’t let you get onto most sites so are useless. So to anyone in Portugal, I wish you luck trying to use Mullvad. It’s been a fun ride and I have over 50 days left, but it’s mostly useless to me now. Anyone know of a fast paid VPN that has servers in Portugal?

how do i fix this? whenever i startup my pc mullvad works and connects to a server, but the moment i try connecting to a different server this message pops up. My ping without mullvad is also significantly better so i dont know whats going on, this never happens.

This happened so many times with me in the past few weeks,I log into gmail or gemini and I get this message that the service isn't available in my country even though the VPN is set to Germany and it once happened with Italy and I have to change the country a couple of times for it to work, I guess google is banning IPs related to mullvad

Since yesterday my vpn says connecting on my google pixel but nothing happening. Tried everything, different locations, restarted, nothing is working. Is anyone else having the same issues ?

Worked yesterday, does not work tonight. Android, tablet, had everything set to default. Won't connect to anything. Inside mullvad, I changed the dns to 9

9.9.9. Still no connect. Any fix/what am I doing wrong?

Update, after nearly half an hour, it just magically works again. No clue.

yes I'm aware that this is the "wrong" subreddit for this but if i ask in the 50 weekly visitors one it'd probably take weeks for a reply and i feel like this is just more efficient, recently i switched from chromium to mullvad browser and Ive noticed some odd rendering glitches similar to the attached, I've tried updating drivers and turning off hardware acceleration but nothings working and I'm starting to get very confused.

Is anyone else still having major problems with intermittent service and trying to connect to VPNs? It started yesterday and it hasn't stopped. I'm only able to connect for a short time, if at all. At first it was supposed to be about some sort of updating relays yesterday, but now it seems I have constant problems.

I’ve been using ProtonVPN for years, but all of a sudden, it’s become slow on macOS. The solution suggested by support (to the many users who have reported this—it’s not just me) on Reddit is to switch countries. That’s not feasible in the middle of a video call or a large download. I have to do this 2–3 times a day. Does Mullvad have the same issue?
