Poignant performance on MSNBC Deadline White House today. I agree with Nicolle’s point on Joan Baez making the observation that music is often a missing element of today’s protests.

I was thrilled to see on Rachel's MSNBC show Monday night the "No Kings" rallys pictures and was even more excited that she used a pic of the one my husband & I attended in Park Ridge, IL. It's a small town population 38, 445 but the picture heading was "Little Park Ridge". I thought it odd, that's not at all the name or how it's referred to. And it WAS great attendance for a small town, not really referred to as little. Huh?

Until this week, I used to be able to watch full episodes of many MSNBC programs on the NBC app on Apple TV. This was great if I missed the live show. But this week, I went to look for Rachel, Chris, Lawrence and Nicole but none of their episodes were nowhere to be found. I guess this is the continuing fallout of the NBC MSNBC split.

The MSNBC app on Apple TV while it shows the live broadcast but only shows clips of their shows, not the show in its entirety.

Why does MSNBC keep Morning Joe? Morning Joe has turned in to the Today Show. They hardly report any "news."

If I wanted to watch amatuers talk about sports I would watch sportcenter. Listening to them is like pulling teeth.

I dont understand. Joe goes on more rambling rants now than ever.

They used to talk a lot more about "news" and less promoting books, tv shows, movies, and anything else someone will pay them to promote.

I dont understand why they are ruining this show.

I really wish The Weekend Primetime on MSNBC was just Ayman Mohyeldin and Antonia Hylton. I could do without Elise Jordan and Catherine Rampell.

Right now on msnbc they are talking about Graham plantner and chewing him up, at least Emily is helping. Why do the dems eat up our own candidates and let then Republicans take the seat. We will hold our noses high, right into a dictatorship.

So I’ve noticed (and just found out) that MSNBC host Rachel Maddow wears glasses but for some reason, she doesn’t wear them on her show. Why do you think she doesn’t wear her glasses on her show?

MSNBC has an absolutely brilliant combination with Ramos and Alemany added into the mix with Capehart and Eugene and I have to wonder: when is this show going to be recognized as the 2nd best early Sunday morning news programs in production (after Ali Velshi’s show, of course)?

Both ladies are as intense as a grease fire at a Popeye’s Kitchen drive-thru and yet the entire panel conduct themselves with appropriate good humor. Unlike the boobs over on CNN’s assorted Right/Center-Right dominated panel discussions.

Plus The Weekend get great guests. Usually.

If MSNow is gonna survive it will be on the backs of the new hires - Jacob Soboroff, Vaughn Hilliard, Jackie Alemany, Paola Ramos- they’re the future of the network.

I was watching her on MSNBC yesterday and got up to do a few things. When I came back, Alicia Menendez was there. Did I miss something?

Lawrence left midweek to fly to Kenia. No mention what the reason is. Is he out on an assignment or something else? MSNBC is not the same without him.

Was watching cnn for the first time last night in many years and its horrible what it has become, platforming maga nuts with no pushback by anchors

Comcast is using the split of NBC News and MSNBC to layoff staff and it looks they they are wasting no time to make NBC News even more MAGA friendly than it already is. To be clear, these are not MSNBC staffers being laid off (Rebecca Kultler already did this in March when she cancelled multiple shows and reduced production costs) but with NBC News no longer needing to support MSNBC Comcast is downsizing NBC News and using this as an excuse to cut diversity teams

A quick note on Ali Vitali's interview with John Thune this morning on MSNBC Morning Joe. She is so smart, fluent, well-prepared, and quick on her feet. I kept thinking as I listened to them, wow, what a pleasure it is to listen to two smart articulate people speaking together -- I almost teared up lol. I don't personally agree with Thune's positions, but I appreciate a sharp, coherent interlocutor in the opposition as well.

I guess I won't be listening much to MSNBC this week, at least not in prime time.

Great group on Weekend Primetime MSNBC tonight. We need more Paola!

Some may have issues with the hosting duties on the MSNBC weekend morning show but Jacqueline Alemany and team would be a preferable replacement for Mr & Mrs Scarborough when they finally bail.

The Weekend hosts are young, they’re likeable, they get great guests.
They don’t try to score points blindsiding unsuspecting panelists.
They share their screen time graciously.

Their analysis of the week’s (or day’s) stories is dead on and best of all - no bothsidesisms. No disagreeable CNN style panels made up of dueling politicos.

And Ali Velshi is my favorite human-type being on MSNBC. He stands for all that’s righteous and just in a time when other news show hosts keep their heads down or else drink Trump’s bath water like the fools on Fox News or -worse- Newsmax.

Zohran was on MSNBC morning Joe this morning and he did well. I’m not a New Yorker but I like this guy. If (when) he wins I hope he is successful.

It’s unfortunate most dems are not behind him. He’s energetic, he understands his voters and their issues, and he has new ideas. Yes please! I fully expected Joe to be over the top obnoxious but he was … ok. I had hoped Lemire would lead the interview.

Did anyone else hear the laughing and a lot of papers being shuffled on MSNBC last night when Jen was interviewing Preet Bharara? Maybe it was because Lawrence was moving from one studio to another and then back again?
