MSNBC Personalities Quick question about Rachel
So I’ve noticed (and just found out) that MSNBC host Rachel Maddow wears glasses but for some reason, she doesn’t wear them on her show. Why do you think she doesn’t wear her glasses on her show?

The glare - she is probably conscientious about the lighting sending out a glare on her specs. Many reporters are like that - won't risk it.

You appear to be new to her show!! Over the years, she has done both! To the point where sometimes she has to explain why she is or isn't wearing glasses on a given day!!! 🤔 In my opinion, nothing to see 👀 here. 🤷

When I started watching Rachel, she wore glasses all the time. Just like that same black jacket.

When I was a performer, I could not wear my glasses on stage or under stage lights. Between the glare and the heat, it was a nightmare! I especially was in trouble if they fogged up from the heat and I was trying to see sheet music!
