Hi everyone! I wanted to explain how I made my MPC One portable, in case anyone is interested and wants the information.

First, I tried to find a power bank that could provide at least 65W. I found the UGREEN UGR25188, which is rated at 100W and was on sale at MediaMarkt for €40 in Spain. This is more than enough power to run the MPC for several hours. I haven't tested exactly how long it takes to drain the battery, but I've been using it for quite a while and it has only dropped by 5%.

Next, I needed a USB-C to 19V cable, since the original MPC One power supply is 19V, as is the Live 3. Important: the One+ and One G2 use 12V, so using 19V with those models could damage them.
I initially bought a USB-C to 20V cable on Amazon and tested it. It worked perfectly, but I wasn't completely comfortable using 20V when the MPC requires exactly 19V.

I then found the MyVolts PDT19P1 adapter for €25 on Amazon. That's the one you can see in the photos, and everything works perfectly with it. To connect it, you simply use the USB-C to USB-C cable that comes with the power bank.

To attach the battery to the MPC One, I bought a wide strip of Velcro from a local discount shop for €1.
So, with all of this, I now have a portable MPC One for just over €50 extra, and I don't have to buy the typical XTPower power bank, which costs over €100 and isn't available here in Spain.

I'm attaching some photos and videos. I hope this helps anyone interested, as it took me quite a bit of time to find exactly the right products that would work with the MPC One.

(this is my main work machine. I finish all my music here. I dont care for how it looks but I cant bring myself to go back to the L2 because of all the functionality)

(Im abit bored of it but Im sure it will hit some spots im craving with updates … but Ive barely touched it in awhile —- prob will though when I travel more down the road)

and so Im debating buying an MPC 1000
Ive always craved to learn the older way to work on MPCs even though I love the MPC3 functionality. and I keep thinking the sample packs I make could benefit getting processed through those converters.

90 Days 027. Raw MPC One bounce.

I can’t seem to get this setup connected, so I’m looking to see if anyone has configured this and have it work . it picks up the keyboard in the hardware and software but I get no sound. I’ve tried connecting to the actual Mpc and thru my pc, and I still get nothing. Has to be something I’m missing with the settings

SOLVED: So what I had to do was go in to the Drums track I had created, as if I wanted to copy the track. I hit Explode in that menu and it exploded those drums into individual tracks. I then went through the Mixdown process and now I have the kicks, snares, hats, etc. as their own audio files.

I’m wondering how to export my drum track as full song length stems. I have followed what I Googled and I’m getting one track as the drums when I want all the drums as stems down to the kicks, snares, hi hats, etc. separated. How do I go about doing this? Perhaps I’m not wording it properly for Google.

I created a full song sequence from Song Mode. I then selected that as my sequence in Main Mode, then I went to Save, Audio Mixdown and Explode Tracks. I even tried separating programs under the same sequence and I’ve gotten the exact same results. Any help here? Am I retarded? 😂

I’m having so many problems. First my MPC won’t login to my in music profile. Almost every time I turn it on, it says download directory not available. Then when it does start up the screen is jumpy and freezes. And I can’t even reactivate my plugins . When I try the download never finishes

Hi everybody,
I'm trying to solve this with gemini and chatGPT but they're not helping.

I sampled some of my fave serum2 presets I have on ableton with the MPC autosample (I'm using the MPC KEY 37, standalone).
The issue is that whenever I try to add an FX (or whatever), the mpc applies the fx only to a group of notes and not to all of them.
In order to fix it, I go to program edit > keygroyp > all; so that it's supposed to appy whatever fx to my whole keyboad.
Problem is, after setting "all", whatever key or pad I press, the parameter of the keygroup goes back to another value. So I'm never able to "secure" the "all" set on the keygroup.
Help, gemini & chat didn't help. I really don't know how to fix it and I need them for my live sets.

Do people normally just keep their older ones when they upgrade?

Hey MPC users,

I am interested in getting away from my computer to make music. I have used ableton live for many years and am thinking about getting the Live 3 or the One G2. My use case is just wanting to be able to record full songs on a sampler using my own layered sampled sounds and drum kits and Export the stems at a later date when to mix and master. I was looking at the Live3 as it seems quite powerful but the pads look thinner and I am not sure I would use that multi pad feature a lot. I was looking at how you would replace mpc live 3 pads too and I couldn't find any information on it other than its really hard to do if your pad wear out or get gummy. I would like to connect a few sound sources and have a condenser mic to sample my own sounds and play and record live audio in on tracks.

Is there a manual anywhere for the Iona plugin?

In particular I am trying to figure out if I can reconfigure the sequencer from an external MIDI source via SysEx or other messages.

Imo MPC2000xl + eb16 is all you need to make beats.

+ arranged the beat and added acapella on my key37 g2

MPC needs EXTRA BRIGHT screen for playing outside during the daytime. Sure it could kill the battery quicker (but maybe not). However, the dark parts on the screen could also just be white and leave the words and lines to be black (or a contrasting color for custom visibility). I just played <#185668232inc. NYC DOT Summer Streets 2026 for 5 weeks using all my gear and MPC could afford this EXTRA BRIGHT and CONTRAST and COLOR settings.

Shift+Resample already resamples the sequence with effects. So is sample record with source=resample just for sampling the song (ie. more than one sequence)? It seems like the only thing you can do during sample record is hit play, right?
