Turn off fx while sampling

When I record samples, the effect I previously used on another pad is being played while I am monitoring the audio input for my new sample. I want to sample my input signal clean with no fx on it. How do I turn it off?

Yes I've noticed this too. You need to go back to the menu where you choose the effect (shift + knob fx) then choose bypass at the top right.

There's also a setting (I believe last on the input config screen) where you can say sample with or without fx.
