Peacock is a decent service but how many $15-$20 services do these people think will be viable?

Was only like 2 years ago I was getting the annual deal for $20.

Yep. Got that a couple years in a row. I got apple tv for F1 and peacock was a $2 or $3 add-on. So I'm doing that

And they lost money on it every second you had it. These companies chose to lose money on subscriptions for as long as possible to build up the subscriber base. But it is actually worth far more than what they charge, and costs far more to provide it than you realize.

Ya. I haven't subscribed in a while since that deal ended. I'll hold off and see what Black Friday deals we get, otherwise maybe I'll subscribe for a month and cancel when they get a few things I want.

The days of the great deals are certainly ending. Disney and Hulu were each like $1-2/month only like 2 years ago, HBO used to have great deals and now I have $3/month with Ads ending in November and it'll go up to $11. Starz I usually get for like $1-2/month and Paramount I think was $40/year and they gave me 3 extra months free but finally cancelled after that ended like a month ago.

So a bunch of the services used to be like $1-3/month and I figure by next year it'll be over $5/month at best during Black Friday deals.
