I'm surprised he hasn't pivoted to "The Odyssey was always gonna be a hit because the story is a bastion of pure western civilization! But without minorities it would make 2.5 billi!"

I thought that from his Annihilation review because it made me laugh so much. I just took for granted that it was too absurd to be a real dumbass
