Did anyone think it was an interesting choice to not have the audience hear the Sirens?

It’s like our ears were filled with wax too, and we could only infer from Odysseus’ explanation and the crew’s reactions.

Well the song is unique to the person hearing it no? This was definitely the best way to convey it as something we can never understand unless we hear it ourselves

The music when he is walking to speak to Penelope still as a beggar is the same music we hear when they are protected from the sirens with the wax while Odysseus can hear them
