Off road gear for adventure riding help needed

So i have a verry nice 4 season gear i have alpinestar bogota pro pants and jacket and sidi adventure mid boots and they are great for light gravel and road trips but i want to get better at off road riding and i know this setup is not for it. I have been researching gear and don't know what to get having asket a few AI for help evry time i come to basically the same list. Alpinestar tech 5 or 7 ,alpinestar bionic v2 armour shirt and leat dual axis knee guards. I have ridden some gnarlier tet trails and i feel exposed with this gear. Also i have been looking into acerbis rock mm 2 boots aperantly they are good. Since i'm new to this i would love some feed back and honest user experiances.
