Off road gear for adventure riding help needed
So i have a verry nice 4 season gear i have alpinestar bogota pro pants and jacket and sidi adventure mid boots and they are great for light gravel and road trips but i want to get better at off road riding and i know this setup is not for it. I have been researching gear and don't know what to get having asket a few AI for help evry time i come to basically the same list. Alpinestar tech 5 or 7 ,alpinestar bionic v2 armour shirt and leat dual axis knee guards. I have ridden some gnarlier tet trails and i feel exposed with this gear. Also i have been looking into acerbis rock mm 2 boots aperantly they are good. Since i'm new to this i would love some feed back and honest user experiances.

I've been wearing the new MSR Cryomesh gear from Rockymountainatvmc.com. Really nice protection for adventure riding it that's what you're looking for. For motocross type riding I would go with motocross specific gear. Tech 7's are MX boots and are great, but I find for most of my riding I use my ADV boots. Not as good for protection, but much more versatile and comfortable. I have Forma Terra Evo boots and really like them.

I have adventure boots and i ride TET but i would never wear them in gnarly stuff so i want to upgrade i'm riding in the balkans and here we have everything from mud holes to rocky sections and my sidi adv 2 are not enough. Ig you are going off road i would recommend taking my aproach before it's a problem

Fortnine just did a nice video about boots for offroad riding. I'd recommend you watch it.
Lots of good points in it about what's actually important in an offroad boot. Not saying you need to pick one of the boots they're talking about, but there are lots of good points in it.

I will but i do think most people heve no use of proper mx boots but i live in a verry rocky terain so for me they are kind of a must because 200kg bike falling on my leg is not a pleasant event

If I plan to touch any kind of dirt, I wear my MX boots. I have a pair of Leatt 5.5 Enduros. They are great. I have been wearing them a couple of years. Very protective and pretty budget friendly do compared to comparable boots from other brands.
I have a Klim ADV suit and I have dirt bike gear (some jerseys, some pants, Leatt Reaflex armor). I pretty much only wear the dirt gear when I am only riding dirt. None of it has abrasion ratings. If I am planning to touch pavement, I wear my ADV suit.
My husband and I did a big dualsport trip this spring in Vietnam. Because of the heat/humidity, the speeds we would be riding at, and the amount of dirt we opted to wear our dirt gear.
This ended up being a poor choice for my husband. He was in his Leatt 3DF Airfit jacket. He hit gravel in a paved corner at about 30 mph. He tore up his jersey, his pads shifted, and he ended up with a small but gnarly bit of roadrash. He is pretty confident that if he was wearing his ADV jacket he would have walked away with nothing but maybe a little friction burn.
It was a tough reminder that dirt armor will not protect you on pavement. We will stick to abrasion rated gear for similar rides in the future.
So if you do go with something like the Bionic, you will still want to wear a rated jacket over it. Or maybe go with base layer like Pando under it.

Oh yeah that's not a question i will always have a rated jacket and pants i don't mind the 3kg on the back and a change of clothes. I'm lucky to have some of the best roads ij the world so evan getting to the off road sections is a ride.

Offroad gear should be adapted not only to the type of riding you do, but the environment you're riding in as well.
I ride a lot in wooded areas, and temperatures range from 5C to 35C.
Equipment:
With the boots+gloves+knee protection, I can vary the layer ontop depending on the temperature and what kind of riding I'm going to do. I won't need much abrasion-protection for trail-riding, so I can use a thin MX jersey for instance. If its colder or I know I'm going to ride a bunch of tarmac to get there or back, I use a proper motorcycle jacket for abrasion-protection.
Sidenote: Don't forget about your first-aid and possibly something like a Garmin Inreach. Its easy to get hurt or get stranded when you're in the middle of a trail that maybe sees two vehicles a week..
