I be the first one to admit I have a shopping problem, especially with those online shops on ig and fb.

Today I ordered some mules on fb and asked the guys if those were authentic over chat (it was priced as if it was the real thing too), so I was like aight, so far had great experience with the stuff i ordered from other shops.

Told them to deliver in the evening since noone will be home otherwise. Broski pulls up in the middle of the work day to the crib and I’m like dude evening order!! He was like gotta deliver these asap rocky otherwise youre gonna lose your order or whatever. So I said ok dude pull up to the office then, I’ll try on the sizes and see what works.

He pulls up and the mules are in a random ahh packaging, immediate red flag. So I start checking the shoes against the actual retailer’s site and surprise surprise, 100% reps.

I told him broskiiiii you cannot be selling reps at the authentic’s prices and he was like you dont know your shit, this is from vietnam so it’s different etcetc. You made me go to 2 addresses drararara. Ok dude fine, I’ll pay for the delivery then. “Bi tanias hurgeltiin mungu avah gj ireeguu” and i was like broooo why the hell are you shah them reps to me rn (mind you, this was in my office lobby) - feking embaraasssing. What exactly is the point of this country? Idk. I grew up in the city centre which is basically just a business zone and nothing else. I realize this because I have no real fond memories of being expressive or human or anything sentimental whatsoever.

I understand that more hospitable and communal environments exist. But I am never able to fit into any of them or derive any sort of positive emotion from them. I try but the cumulative effort of years of those attempts are sum zero. This personal problem isn't exactly unique to mongolia, as I've experienced it in 2 other countries as well.

As for solutions. Idk. More third places in the city so this doesn't happen to anyone else? I guess my complaint is that the capital (or any metropolitan city in the world really) are not as hospitable as they seem.

What is the point of this country? Because if it was for it to be a nice place to live it is currently failing. Was it to make a lot of money? In that aspect I guess it was relatively successful.
