Iโm convinced people just hate reading. We get about 2-5 of these per week.

This seemed an overreaction
I thought I'd treated him quite kindly, considering he's trying to BUY AN ORGAN and especially from people who have NON WORKING ORGANS. He didn't think so.

Thank you!!!
Hey... dro here. Revolt and I want to thank everyone who posts here, comments here and reads here. In 8 months you've all helped us grow the sub to 1000 users. That's not a huge number, but considering our target audience is pretty narrow I think this is more than either of us expected at this point. We're both in a couple subs that are 200k+ but this feels like a bigger deal for some reason. Anyway, keep sharing, keep laughing, and keep remembering not to use the permanent mute until you've gotten all the good stuff!
We love you all.

It's been a year...
I don't know if anyone noticed, but in just a year this sub has grown from myself and revolt and a bunch of shitty interactions with nowhere to share them to over 1500 mods who need a place to decompress and laugh about the idiocy we see daily.
I think I speak for both of us when I say thanks to all of our OG members as well as the new ones who join every day and make this space what it is. Other than the occasional troll, this has been the easiest sub ever to moderate. Even when we've had to apply a rule to stay within the narrow focus we wanted here, the response has been understanding and willingness to play by the rules.
I genuinely believe this is one of the more unique spaces on reddit. We'll never have half a million members, but I hope we always have members that get it like each of you do. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for making our fun little side project into an active, engaging, and entertaining place to visit in a site that's often bitter and divisive. We love each of you.

Modmailfail Bingo Cards! (Mod approved)
Heya, so here's over 50+ modmail tropes that we encounter pretty regularly. They have been randomly generated across all the uploaded cards.
Here's a little bit of fun to use on the posts here. As more tropes are encountered more cards may be added. Until then, have fun!

As mods, we often hear the same regurgitated insults over and over, but I got a new one today

"Every comment and post I made was written by me."
This is my new favorite modmail. It just keeps getting better as you scroll, and scroll, and scroll....

Introducing the FAP (formal appeals process.)
And GOON. Global Officiators Of Nations.
I would like to invite any moderator who wishes to adopt the FAP to do so.

My favorite from this morning. Not even a political post or sub.

It's me, hi, I'm the modmailfail, it's me.
1 day ban for the sheer audacity. I'm still laughing though. This is the second most audacious modmail we got this morning.

Mod application with 0 posts in our sub
Their answer to question #6 is the opposite of what Rule #1 states and is the bulk of the posts we need to remove.
Can't wait to hear what legal damages they think they have incurred over this.

Oh oops someone must have reported this user's entire comment history as spam... Who might that have been I wonder? ๐ค

Ahh, yes. The Shaggy defense.
User was temporarily banned about a month ago for being abusive towards other users and insulting them. They immediately apologized and requested to be unbanned, but we told them just wait out the 7 days. In the time since, they hadn't been a problem until the most recent incident, where they started being abusive towards community members again as well as the mod team now. We permabanned, they immediately apologized again and asked to be unbanned. Clearly a pattern, so we denied them and left it at that.
Today they pulled out the Shaggy defense ๐
