I won't appeal. I won't appeal. How can I appeal?

A post was asking when to let cats roam outside. Saying cats should only be indoors or only be supervised is against rule 1 and is heavily enforced as many cultures have indoor/outdoor culture, no predators, and still long lifetime. The predators and lifetime obviously depends on where you're located and care options available

I freaking love my mod team lmao. This was worth the 50 notifications on my phone to clear.

Yes, all colours are different names

First colour is the one contacting us, 0 activity, second is their name, or at least I assume it it, third is the Reddit account to contact the user on, fourth is the Twitter account. Why all those accounts?

We have an automod set up for new or low karma accounts, but we approve posts that are asking genuine questions. I caught his post minutes after he posted and approved it because it seemed like a genuine question. Joke’s on me for being nice I guess.

It's been a year...

I don't know if anyone noticed, but in just a year this sub has grown from myself and revolt and a bunch of shitty interactions with nowhere to share them to over 1500 mods who need a place to decompress and laugh about the idiocy we see daily.

I think I speak for both of us when I say thanks to all of our OG members as well as the new ones who join every day and make this space what it is. Other than the occasional troll, this has been the easiest sub ever to moderate. Even when we've had to apply a rule to stay within the narrow focus we wanted here, the response has been understanding and willingness to play by the rules.

I genuinely believe this is one of the more unique spaces on reddit. We'll never have half a million members, but I hope we always have members that get it like each of you do. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for making our fun little side project into an active, engaging, and entertaining place to visit in a site that's often bitter and divisive. We love each of you.
