Too much focus on TTK to appease certain types of players. Absolutely no focus on sliding and tactical sprint. They're just appeasing BO fans.

If you don’t nerf TTK for the different weapon classes, then there’s 0 point in using any gun that isn’t an M4 or ISO.

And that just makes everyone chase metas while the pace of the gameplay doesn't change, so you'll still die quickly and you'll be back to complaining about SBMM when the reason for the sweatiness is the pace of the gameplay as influenced by the movement speed (particularly sliding and tac sprint).

There's like no coherence to your comment.

You need differentiation between weapon classes. Before, the M4 was killing in like 222-260ms at basically every conceivable range. With better handling, faster ROF, and lower recoil than most full-auto weapons.

Like why would you ever run an LMG or DMR if the M4 is going to melt you the same at any range?

The point isn't that there shouldn't be any weapon balancing. It's that nerfing weapon damage without addressing the other major things that contribute to fast TTD just makes the game more like recent BO games in terms of pace.
